MAT 2016: Last date to apply extended for May CBT till April 29; closed for paper based test

AIMA has announced extension in last date to apply for computer based MAT 2016 May exam by 10 days from April 19 to April 29, 2016. Sharing the information All India Management Association (AIMA) has advised Last date extended upto 29 April 2016 for candidates applying for MAT May-2016 CBT for Option-1 only.

Option-1 open: 2 closed Only Option-1 to apply is open and it requires the candidates to upload their photograph and signature image in online application form for CBT MAT 2016 May exam. The Registration process with Option-2 which does not require uploading the images and the photograph and signature are to be placed on the print out of the application form has already been closed.

AIMAs announcement of extension of last date has offered a great relief to the candidates applying for MAT 2016 May computer based test as many of them encountered technical glitches and last minute rush.

The computer based MAT 2016 May exam is to be held from May 7, 2016 onwards. Less than a week remains to register and apply online for CBT MAT 2016 May exam as the process will come to an end on Friday April 29, 2016.

There is no extension in last date of registration for paper Pen based MAT 2016 May exam to be held on May 1, 2016. If a new Candidate, create login New candidates applying for MAT 2016 May CBT exam need to visit AIMA MAT website and click on Option 1 and then on Fresh Candidate to Create Log in.

You have to fill the details to create Log In and must have a valid email ID for applying online. Press the button Submit. Once the information filled in the form, it will not be changed.

The confirmation for the registration will also be sent on your email as entered in the form. Please note that the Email-ID and Date of birth as filled by you will be used to login to the website to fill the online application form.

If already registered but not paid; good chance Since there are candidates who have already registered and have been allotted registration number but have not paid the requisite fee to appear in MAT 2016 May CBT exam, can now login with their registered id and complete the on-line application form to appear in computer based MAT 2016 May test.

Option-1open: Complete quickly Option-1 is the online registration process where payment is to be madewith Credit Card/Debit Card (ATM Card) payment or Demand draft. The candidate exercising option-1 will also have to upload the image of the photograph & signature in On-line application form.

Documents required Before starting to fill up the on-line application, keep ready with you the following details / documents / Information

-- Valid Email ID (the email should be valid for at least 1 year)

-- Educational qualification details

-- Image of scanned photograph in jpg / jpeg format and size should not exceed 50 KB

-- Image of scanned signature in jpg / jpeg format and size should not exceed 50 KB

-- Debit / Credit Card/Net Banking details in case making online payment.

Admit card already out on April 23 All the registered candidates both for Paper Based and Computer Based MAT 2016 May exam can download their Admit Card from AIMA website. The Admit card was enabled on April 23, 2016 and will remain available till the exam day. Specific Admit Card is generated both for the candidates opted for the Paper Based Test and for the Computer Based Test. No separate Admit Card will be issued and sent to a candidate by post.

You are supposed to take a printout of the admit card. Please remember candidates will not be allowed to enter the Written Test Venue without a valid Admit Card. The validity of MAT 2016 May exam score is one year.

MAT is a national level entrance test for admission to PGDM institutes where thousands of the aspirants test their skills. The test is conducted by AIMA (All India Management Association). Usually there are 4 MAT tests in a year viz February, May, September and December. The scores of MAT 2016 May exam will be used as admission criteria for MBA/PGDM programmes commencing 2016 and 2017.
