The charm of getting into one of the top rated and different MBA programmes has been and would this year also attract a high turnout of test takers in IIFT 2016 MBA(IB) 2017-19 batch entrance exam. Over the years Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) has been ranked as the top institute offering MBA in international business. The career prospects and high campus placements at IIFT also add to the glory of its entrance exam.
IIFT has already announced the complete schedule for the admission entrance exam for admission to 360 seats in MBA (International Business) 2017-19 batch at its Delhi and Kolkata campuses. IIFT 2016 exam will be held on November 27 from 10AM to 12Noon. It will be the last Sunday of November and before that candidates appearing for CAT 2016 will have gone through the largest MBA entrance exam of 2016.
IIFT 2016 exam notification was released on July 15, 2016. With the release of exam notification, IIFT has also opened the registration and application process for the entrance exam. The registration for IIFT 2016 exam will close on September 5, 2016.
Registration to close on Sep 5 The registration window for IIFT 2016 exam that opened on July 15, will remain open for 50 days as the last date to submit the completed application form is September 5, 2016.
IIFT will be conducting its National Level Admission Test for MBA (IB) batch 2017-19 for its Delhi and Kolkata campuses.
2 hours paper based exam Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) 2016 entrance exam for MBA (IB) 2017-19 admission on November 27, 2016 will be held from 10AM to 12 noon across the country in paper pencil mode.

Application fee : Rs.1550 The application fee for IIFT entrance exam is Rs.1550/- for general category candidates. It is under revision and may increase a little with the release of notification. The application fee for SC/ST/PH Candidates is Rs.775.
Apply online or offline IIFT has offered the facility to apply both online as well as off line. However the last date of submission of completed application forms in either mode will remain the same September 5, 2016.
Any candidate who is a graduate and can produce the proof of his qualification before October 7, 2017 is eligible to appear.
Admit card in 1st week of November IIFT will dispatch the exam admit cards by post to the registered addresses of eligible candidates. Those who do not receive the admit card by November 15 should immediately contact IIFT helpline or on mail.
Exam components & weightage IIFT 2016 entrance exam for admission to MBA (IB) 2017-19 batch will be a paper pencil mode, multiple choice objective type written test (in English) consisting of questions covering English Comprehension, General Knowledge & Awareness, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Analysis.
Maximum overall marks in IIFT entrance are 100. Out of these 100 marks the proposed distribution of marks in IIFT 2016 entrance with number of questions and weightage assigned to each of them, is on following pattern

Expert guidance: How to approach the exam Prof S K Agarwal, expert and mentor on IIFT 2016 exam preparation, shares that the 4 sections and their sub sections in IIFT entrance test carry different weightage in calculation of overall score. While it is very important that you must prepare in the manner to get the minimum cut off in each of the 4 sections, it is also necessary that you score overall high score in the exam. This is possible when you attempt more questions from the high weightage sections with speed and accuracy.
Please note that each section needs minimum qualifying score, so take care to target high balanced sectional score in IIFT 2016 entrance exam. Interestingly, the cut off marks for admission to IIFT MBA (IB) programme remain around 50%. So you need to be accurate while attempting the well selected questions from your strong areas.
IIFT entrance test is one of the most preferred MBA entrance exams. Around 60 thousand candidates are expected to go for IIFT 2016 registration and apply for admission to 360 seats of MBA (International Business) programme for both campuses of IIFT at Delhi and Kolkata. The ratio per candidate is higher than any other MBA entrance test. IIFT doesnt accept any other score than the score of its own entrance test for domestic candidates. For NRIs and foreign nationals GMAT scores are accepted.
