IIM Ahmedabad PGP #16 with IIM Bangalore PGP at #19 in Financial Times Global Masters in Management 2016 ranking

IIM Ahmedabads 2 year PGP has been ranked 16 followed by IIM Bangalores 2 year Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) which has been ranked 19 in the Financial Times Global Masters in Management 2016 ranking.
IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore are 2 of the top B-schools in India. While IIM Ahmedabad has gone down from 15th position in 2015 to 16th position in 2016, IIM Bangalore has moved up by 7 spots from 26 to 19 in the ranking positions.
Indian Institute of Bangalore is also the only management school in India to lead in school diversity with 28% women in the 2 year programme, 21% women faculty and 25% of women on the school advisory board.

The Top 20 schools, ranked by FT this year, include University of St. Gallen, HEC Paris, London Business School, Esade Business School, among others.

After making a debut in the Financial Time Global Masters in Management Rankings in 2015 and being ranked 26, IIM Bangalores two-year PGP has shown improvement in several parameters of the 2016 rankings.

The 12th annual FT Global Masters in Management 2016rankingfeatures a record 93 Masters in Management programmes, up from 70 in 2014. The FT Global Masters in Management 2016 ranking is based on a relative assessment of the worlds top pre-experience degrees in general management, calculated according to data provided by schools and alumni. The ranking is based on data collected from two surveys: one of the participating business schools and the other of alumni who graduated three years ago - the class of 2013.

One of the top 3 business schools in India, IIM Bangalore has also been ranked #1 in the NIRF 2016 rankings of Government of India. It is the only Indian B-school in GNAM list. IIM Bangalore has been accredited by EQUIS the international accreditation agency and is the first B-School in Asia to sign an agreement with Harvard Business Publishing (HBP) to distribute faculty teaching cases.IIM Bangalore has produced leaders, entrepreneurs, social entrepreneurs, artists, writers , managers who collectively have a wealth of knowledge and experience. Common Admission Test (CAT) 2016 the entrance exam for IIMs and other top rated B-schools like FMS, SPJIMR, MDI, JBIMS, NITIE, IMI, IMT among others is also going to be convened by IIM Bangalore on December 4, 2016. It is expected that CAT 2016 would be a different exam than the earlier exams.
