For our flagship programs PGDM & PGDM-International Business the entry is only through CAT/XAT/ GMAT.The ideal candidate should have a percentile above 70 for PGDM and should have a well all-round profile. The selection is on the overall merit score which takes in to account not only the test scores but the past academic credentials, performance in further selection process and the relevant work experience.

On the admission process for other specialized PGDM programmes, Prof Kushwaha shared For our sectoral programs of PGDM-Insurance Business Management & PGDM- Retail Management, entry is open through MAT/CMAT scores also. Here we expect the aspirant to have a minimum of 60 percentile in CAT/XAT/ GMAT and minimum of 80 percentile in MAT/CMAT.

NO GD in BIMTECH final selection process
There will be no GD round in Final selection process at BIMTECH and the weightage of CAT 2016 written test has also been increased from 20 to 30%.

Sharing the about the final selection criteria at BIMTECH, Prof Kushawaha highlights the key changes in the admission process Yes, there are few changes this year. It has been decided to drop group discussion as a tool of selection. The second stage of process would consist of written aptitude test and personal interview only.

Adding further he said, The weight of eligibility test percentile and the PI round has been increased from 20 to 30%. There would be more emphasis on the communication skill and the level of the general awareness aptitude of the candidate this year. This means a candidate having higher percentile in eligibility test, good verbal communication skill and having better level of general awareness would get higher rank in our merit score.
