IESMCRC offers the opportunity for students to connect with companies and engage in working with them while continuing with academics. It makes students understand expectations of companies and accordingly shape personality and also acquire skills to complement academics. The Industry- Academia Collaboration, short live projects at IESMCRC are only a few examples in this direction

All of us are aware that companies hold money and a workforce, whereas academics have extensive knowledge and a large number of the faculty who are experts in their respective fields. Interaction between industry and academia has proven to be successful in various fields. A company has a complex problem which it cannot solve. Believing that only the best of minds can tackle such complex issues, they decide to engage a group of faculty. The partnership has its ups and downs but ultimately succeeds and the problem is solved.

But what about the students? Do students get to connect with companies and engage in working with company and continuing with academics? Do students understand expectations of companies and accordingly shape personality and also acquire skills to complement academics? YES, all this happens at IESMCRC is the good news!

Connect with TAITRA and Taiwan Chambers of Commerce Mumbai has been another feather in the cap of IESMCRC as a number of MNCs have visited and interacted with faculty and students. With TCC, IESMCRC started the Leadership Talks by Heads of Taiwanese companies in India. With TAITRA we had the Contact Taiwan program and teaching Business Mandarin to our students. Our students along with Taiwan Chambers of Commerce organized for the 1st time in India an India- Taiwan Cultural festival which was attended by industry executives from Taiwanese companies and more importantly His Excellency Mr Tein Chung Kwang- Ambassador of Taiwan.

What industry has to say…

CII invited students to assist them for organizing & compering a full day workshop by Indians Women Network. Ms Ricci Chatterjee Executive Manager-CII wrote “......Everything went off very well. Thank you for your support. All the students were very helpful. I have given Keval Chande the points on which he could improve. Overall he did a good job. Thank you!”

“Mr Aditya Menon Chair CII Yi YUVA has this to say: “We at CII Yi have had a long standing association with IESMCRC. We have conducted numerous sessions with IESMCRC such as Mock stock trading and corporate governance conducted by the industry’s well known experts. Students at IESMCRC were put on to a curriculum for which they were tested and accordingly graded. Overall the ultimate aim to make students industry ready was majorly accomplished. Always a delight to have IESMCRC be a part of CII Yi Yuva and conduct sessions which would make their students industry ready.”
