Latest Update:  Delhi University has released the BBA/BMS admission 2020 dates based on DU JAT 2020 Result. In its Notification dated October 17, Delhi University has notified that three admission lists are scheduled to be released from October 26 to November 11, 2020 and the last date to make payment of admission fee is November 13, 2020. DU JAT 2020 result with score card was declared on October 14, 2020 at the NTA website. You can download your Delhi University BBA entrance exam result by login with your application form number and date of birth. DUIJAT 2020 exam was conducted on September 7, 2020 by National Testing Agency in two shifts as computer based test.  

 

Merit score in DU JAT 2020 exam determines the BBA/BBS admission prospects in Delhi University colleges. Editing of Application Form for UG Admission 2020: Last Date October 5
You can edit your personal details in the registered form submitted for Undergraduate admission 2020 at Delhi University as under:

  1. Go to the University admission portal for UG    
  2. Enter your registered email ID and password. In case you have forgotten your password, click on Forgot Password to reset your password. You shall get a code on your registered email ID and registered mobile. 
  3. After you enter your dashboard with your registered email ID, you shall see a message on the right hand side for Update details. In case you wish to update your form, press Yes 
  4. A pop-up window will come up informing about the fields that cannot be edited. Kindly note along with the fields mentioned in the pop-up, an applicant cannot edit their registered email ID and mobile number. However, you may provide details of alternate email ID and mobile number. But all communication from university will be done only on the registered email ID and mobile number. 
  5. Click on Proceed to continue editing
  6. You can edit your personal details. After the editing click on next at the bottom of page to move to the Upload section
  7. In the upload section, the applicants can upload their updated certificates
  8. After uploading all the updated certificates, press Next. The applicants will be asked to confirm their submission or re-verify again
  9. In order to continue, press Continue. The applicants will have to agree to the declaration and Submit the form
  10. This edit option is only a one-time facility. Once an applicant submits the form or after the edit window is closed, no more editing will be allowed.

DUJAT 2020 Exam was conducted on September 7, 2020 in two slots as computer based test by National Testing Agency (NTA) with moderate difficulty. A weightage of 65% is given to DU JAT score and 35% to academic profile of the candidate in merit list declaration. Delhi University Admission Process 2020: Important Announcements
In a meeting of the Standing Committee on Delhi University Admission 2020, following modifications in admission process 2020 have been made:

  • Online Registration process for Delhi University entrance exam based Admission is open from June 20 to July 31, 2020 
  • Second window for registration opened after CBSE declared result to enable the candidates to update marks.
  • DU Admission process for BBA/BBS and other undergraduate management courses will be based on Written Exam
  • No Personal Interview (PI) round in Final Admission Process
  • Admission process 2020 to remain contactless without physical presence of the applicants
  • DU Colleges not to add any additional eligibility criterion for admission
  • Counseling will be conducted through virtual mode
  • Documents verification will be done after session commencement
  • DU Cut offs for merit based courses are expected to be announced by after August 2020

Place in DU JAT Merit Determines College Allotment

There were 19837 candidates who appeared in DU JAT for BBA/BBS/FIA admission last year. DU JAT scoring pattern awards percentile score in the range of .01 to 100 percentile. Ans. No, without Mathematics, you are not eligible for admission to the above courses.

 

Q. Will there be any disadvantage for gap year students in UG Admission 2020?

Ans. No, there is no disadvantage for gap year students and they would be treated at par with regular students. They should meet the requisite criteria for admission and must possess the necessary documents/certificates.

 

Q. What will be admission criteria in DU colleges? Will the applicants be given admission on a first come, first serve policy after declaration of cut-offs?

Ans. Admissions in the colleges are not based on first come first serve policy. Instead, the applicant who has filled the online registration form and satisfies the criteria and cut-off for a particular programme/course in a particular college will be considered for admission as per the schedule of admission specified.

 

Q.  Can I take admission in two different courses or same course in different colleges after declaration of a cut off?

Ans.     No, you cannot take admission simultaneously in two different courses or same courses in different colleges. In case you take admission at two places, your admission will be cancelled from both the colleges/courses.

 

Q.  I have completed my class 12thfrom NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling). Can I apply and get admission in BBA/BBS etc. in a regular college?

Ans.    Yes, you can get admission in a regular college provided you have applied in an available programme/course and meet the criteria.

 

Q. Is it important to have caste or tribe certificate in the name of a candidate/applicant?

Ans. Yes, if you are applying under any reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/EwS), then you must have the SC/ST/OBC//EwS certificate in the name of candidate. The OBC certificate must also specify that candidate belongs to non-creamy layer and the caste is listed in the Central Government list I and it must be issued on and after 31st March 2020.

 

Note: For candidates claiming reservation under Ews category the Certificate should be issued by SDM and should have been issued on or after March 31, 2020.

DU JAT 2020 Exam Pattern

Delhi University DU JAT 2020 exam pattern has been released by NTA. The exam will be a LAN Based CBT (Computer Based Test).
