Eligibility

  • Candidate must hold a bachelor's degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (in case of the candidate belonging to SC/ST/PwD category, the eligibility criterion is relaxed to 45%
  • The candidate should appear in CAT 2021 exam and must score minimum prescribed sectional and overall score to become eligible for admission at IIM Bangalore

 

Selection Process

Domestic Admissions are based on the applications received through the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2021 conducted by the IIMs.

Indian nationals or foreigners normally resident in India who are in a position to take the CAT and have appeared in the exam are Short-listed on the basis of CAT exam score, academic profile and other parameters.

The Shortlisted candidates have to attend a Written Ability Test and Personal Interview, and should provide three letters of reference from persons who know them closely in terms of their academic/professional performance.

The final selection is based on the CAT performance, Scholastic Achievement, Work Experience, performance in the Writing Ability Test, and Interview.

    No. IIMs only consider CAT Scores. In some cases they also use GMAT.
