Course Highlights

MBA (Agribusiness Management) is a two-year fully residential and very fast growing programme in KSRM, which was started in 2019. Its curriculum is uniquely designed in balance with classroom and field based experiential learning. The classroom segment spreads over 70 credits and the three field segments of 14 credits across four semesters over two years. The programme focuses on ‘experiential learning’ by the students. It allows students to learn from live situations. The sectors which provide the fieldwork includes: agri-input industry (seed, fertilizer, agrochemicals, farm machinery and equipments, feed-cattle, poultry and aqua feed), food processing industry (dairy, fruits, vegetables, chicken and meet processing), retail industry, financial services (private, public sector and small finance banks, NBFCs in agri and retail sector and micro finance institutions), agri-commodity trading, agri warehousing, development sector, cooperatives and farmer producer organizations, agri-export houses and e-business.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Graduate in any discipline recognized by the AIU with a minimum of 15 years (10+2+3) of education
  • Minimum 50% aggregate marks (or equivalent CGPA) in Graduation
  • Valid  KIITEE Management/KIITEE/CAT/XAT/CMAT/MAT scores
  • The percentage of aggregate marks is to be calculated as per the practice followed by the concerned University/ Institution from where the candidate has obtained the degree.
  • The students who are appearing for final year graduation exams are also eligible to apply and will be given provisional admission subject to submission of their final results before 30th June 2021
  • Students with Agriculture and allied areas will be given preference
