IIFT 2017 Registration: Offline process discontinued; 3 steps to complete the IIFT form

You cannot apply for IIFT 2017 MBA entrance exam in offline mode. The practice has been discontinued by the B-school. Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) will conduct entrance test IIFT 2017 for admission to MBA (International Business) 2018-20 at its Delhi and Kolkata campus on December 3, 2017 in paper pen mode.

To register for IIFT entrance exam, you need to visit IIFT websiteand click on the Admissions 2018 icon. Fill in the online form as per details given in website. The cost of Prospectus and Application Form is one-time payment of Rs.1,550 (775 for SC/ST/PWD candidates) which includes application screening and Entrance Test Fee. The candidates are not required to pay any other fee. SC/ST/PWD/OBC (Non-creamy layer) candidates need to attach the requisite certificate with the Application Form.

IIFT Offline Registration discontinued
IIFT has discontinued the offline registration and application form submission and the IIFT registration form can be submitted online only. However, payment for the IIFT registration and exam fee can be made by demand draft apart from online payment. The last date for IIFT 2017 exam registration is September 15 and there are no chances that IIFT would extend this date.

Why Offline registration withdrawn? No response from IIFT
The institute has not advised or shared the reason for withdrawal of offline registration facility which existed earlier and when team MBAUniverse.com tried to contact the IIFT admission office on their registered phone number 011-39147213 on August 30 thrice at 12.05; 12.06 and 12.11 hours, there was no response. However, the reply received on mail from IIFT said You can apply only through online mode.

IIFT Online registration: complete in 3 steps
The online registration process to IIFT 2017 entrance exam can be completed in simple 3 steps in 10 minutes.

First step: Register online
Click on Apply Now and choose the category under which you want to apply.

Second step: Complete basic details
Now Fill in the basic details required for registration and submit the form. Once submitted, Application number will be generated and intimated through an email sent to your registered email id.

Third step: Use Application number
Log in to the website using the generated Application Number mentioned in the email and Password entered by you while registering. Follow the links to complete the registration process.
Once completed, the intimation regarding successful registration will be sent to the registered email id.

Registration fee
The registration fee for different category of candidates is as follows

For General/OBC candidates
Rs.1550/-

For SC/ST/PH candidates
Rs. 775

For Foreign National/NRI/Children of NRI
US$ 80 (INR4500)

How to pay
You can pay online or through demand draft. Online payment can be made through credit/debit cards of VISA/Master.
Mode 1: Online Payment Gateway- Through Credit/Debit Cards (VISA/Master)
Mode 2: Demand Draft- Applicant has to get a DD made in favour of Indian institute of Foreign Trade, payable atNew Delhi. The candidate is required to fill in the details of the Demand Draft in the online application form.
If you are paying through Demand Draft, you must send the Demand Draft along with print out of application form within 10 days from the date of online registration. Candidate is required to write name and application number on the back side of the Demand Draft.

The print out of the online form along with Demand Draft should be sent by Registered Post/ Speed Post/ Courier to Section Officer (Admissions), Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, B-21, Qutab Institutional Area, New Delhi-110016.
Upload Scanned signature & photograph
Candidates registering online, are required to upload their scanned photograph and signature in .jpg / .jpeg format only. The prescribed file size is not more than 50kb each.

Keep a print out with you
Once online registration process is complete,keep a print-out of the filled-in application form for your own record.
Please ensure that you have successfully logged out of the website after completion of the registration process.

No changes allowed after submission
You cannot change the data after submission of online registration form. For any modifications in the registration form after submission, you are supposed to send IIFT an e-mail from your registered e-mail id mentioning your Full name (as it is written on the application form), application form number and the details to be edited. Please note that only a few basic items of information can be modified.

Reserved category candidates: Key Instructions
Please note that it is mandatory for the Reserve category candidates to send the print out of the online application form. Following are to be sent with Print-out of online form to IIFT.

Print-out of the online application form.
Self attested copy of caste certificate for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
Self attested copy ofCentral Level OBC(non creamy layer) certificate
Original Demand Draft of requisite amount with Name, Address & Application No. on the back-side of demand draft (if not paying by credit card).

Online form along with necessary enclosures should be sent to following address by Registered Post/ Speed Post/ Courier only.
