IIFT 2017 Registration: Don’t wait for last minute technical glitches; last date to apply – September 15

Three days are left to apply for IIFT 2017 entrance exam. The last date to apply closes on September 15. If you are an IIFT aspirant and are seeking admission to MBA(IB) 2018-20 batch at IIFT Delhi, it is advisable not to wait for IIFT MBA entrance exam last date to register online. 

IIFT has already extended the last date of registration from September 5 to September 15, 2017 in the wake of its exam date moving to December 3 instead of earlier November 26 to avoid clash with CAT 2017 exam date. The online registration date has been extended by IIFT to make up the loss of time as thousands of candidates could not register and apply to IIFT entrance exam due to its entrance exam date clash with CAT 2017.

In this context, IIFT aspirants should note that IIFT has discontinued the offline registration and application form submission and the IIFT 2017 registration form can be submitted online only. However, payment for the IIFT registration and exam fee can be made by demand draft apart from online payment.  With the last date getting very near for IIFT 2017 exam registration, there are no chances that IIFT would extend the last date to apply from September 15.

IIFT 2017 registration process for admission to 2 years full time MBA (IB) 2018-20 programme will close at midnight on September 15 and going by its reputation, there are negligible chances that Indian Institute of Foreign Trade would extend the deadline. The IIFT 2017 entrance exam will be held on December 3 in paper pen mode in a single session.

Apply now: Avoid last minute glitches
Waiting for the last day and submitting the IIFT 2017 registration and application on September 15 could be problematic due to the rush and technical glitches. Submission of off line application form has already been discontinued by IIFT from this year. Besides during this last leg of IIFT 2017 exam registration, the best way to register and apply is online process.

Register online
Click on "Apply Now" and choose the category under which you want to apply.

Complete basic details
Now Fill in the basic details required for registration and submit the form. Once submitted, Application number will be generated and intimated through an email sent to your registered email id.

Use Application number
Log in to the website using the generated Application Number mentioned in the email and Password entered by you while registering. Follow the links to complete the registration process.

Once completed, the intimation regarding successful registration will be sent to the registered email id.

IIFT Application fee
The registration fee for different category of candidates is as follows

Two payment modes
You can pay online or through demand draft. Online payment can be made through credit/debit cards of VISA/Master.

Online Payment Gateway - Through Credit/Debit Cards (VISA/Master)
Demand Draft - Applicant has to get a DD made in favour of  Indian institute of Foreign Trade, payable at New Delhi. The candidate is required to fill in the details of the Demand Draft in the online application form.

If you are paying through Demand Draft, you must send the Demand Draft along with print out of application form within 10 days from the date of online registration. Candidate is required to write name and application number on the back side of the Demand Draft.

The print out of the online form along with Demand Draft should be sent by Registered Post/ Speed Post/ Courier to Section Officer (Admissions), Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, B-21, Qutab Institutional Area, New Delhi-110016.

Check for right size of scanned signature & photograph
Candidates registering online, are required to upload their scanned photograph and signature in .jpg / .jpeg format only. The prescribed file size is not more than 50kb each. 

Print out of Application form
Once online registration process is complete, keep a print-out of the filled-in application form for your own record.

Please ensure that you have successfully logged out of the website after completion of the registration process.

Changes after submission: Not allowed
You cannot change the data after submission of online registration form. For any modifications in the registration form after submission, you are supposed to send IIFT an e-mail from your registered e-mail id mentioning your Full name (as it is written on the application form), application form number and the details to be edited. Please note that only a few basic items of information can be modified.

Instructions for candidates
Please note that it is mandatory for the Reserve category candidates to send the print out of the online application form. Following are to be sent with Print-out of online form to IIFT.

1. Print-out of the online application form.
2. Self attested copy of caste certificate for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
3. Self attested copy of Central Level OBC (non creamy layer) certificate
4. Original Demand Draft of requisite amount with Name, Address & Application No. on the back-side of demand draft (if not paying by credit card).

Online form along with necessary enclosures should be sent to following address by Registered Post/ Speed Post/ Courier only.

IIFT 2017: Important dates
Following are the key dates to register and appear in IIFT 2017 entrance exam. Please also note that IIFT usually does not extend its registration date for the exam.

Registration closes: September 15, 2017 (For Domestic candidates)
Registration last date for Foreign National and NRI: February 15, 2018
Submitting request to change the test centre: November 3, 2017
Issue of Admit Card: From 1^st week of November 2017
IIFT exam date: December 3, 2017
