IIM Ahmedabad to host Red Brick Summit 2017: GoI Minister, top Policy makers, CXOs to address

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad is all set to host The Red Brick Summit from 29th September to October 2nd, 2017. It is the biggest management symposium of IIM Ahmedabad to date. Under its aegis, the Summit brings together 4 festivals of the institute - Confluence, Insight and Amaethon and Connexions. Key note speakers at the Summit include Union Minister, Top Bureaucrats, Policy makers, CEOs, HR heads, IIMA alumni among other eminent who’s who.

With 8 conclaves, 14 workshops, 15 speaker sessions and 20 events, the event is cited to become the largest management symposium in India in its first edition itself. Till date, the event has registered 18200+ students across 350 colleges.

8 Conclaves in association with Industry
Under the theme of Challenge, Innovate and Redefine, the Red Brick Summit at IIM Ahmedabad brings together eight conclaves from Marketing and Finance, Business Policy and Economics to Media and Entertainment, Arts and Social.

Each conclave is brought in association with industry leaders ranging from Amazon to Uber, Motilal Oswal, European Union, Business World, and Central Bank of India. These conclaves will be conducted in the form of case competitions, panel discussions, workshops, and sessions by eminent speakers.

Union Minister, policy makers, CXOs among key note speakers
The keynote speaker at the event is Smt. Smriti Irani, Union Minister, Ministry of Textiles and I&B. But the list does not end there.

Ever wondered the why, what and how of GST? Dr. Hasmukh Adhia, Revenue Secretary of GOI, the brainchild of the GST framework will be speaking at the vent ready to put any doubts to rest. Complementing him is Asia’s leading economist, Mr Sanjeev Sanyal, the Principal Economic Advisor to the Ministry of Finance, Government of India.

The Sports, Media and Entertainment conclave is brought to life with speakers like Ms Sagarika Ghose, eminent news anchor and journalist and Ms Anita Bhogle, a celebrated alumnus of the institute and a co-author of “The Winning Way” along with Mr. Harsha Bhogle, coming back on campus to share her wealth of experience in a niche segment of management lessons from the field of sports.

From tips on material investments to the tools for spiritual-investment, the Summit has it all! Mr Raamdeo Agarwal, the co-founder of the leading investment service provider Motilal Oswal, will talk about the investment industry while we Atmarpit Vidhiben Desai, a spiritual practitioner and a renowned content creator and speaker from the organisation, Shrimad Rajchandra Mission, Dharampur will guide on self-investment tools. Ms. Anjana Ghosh, marketing wizard at Bisleri and Mr. R.S. Sodhi, MD, GCMMF Ltd. Amul, are also set to share their amazing consumer products stories.

HR Heads, CEOs, MPs to share views    
The HR conclave aims to gain from the rich experiences of Ms Keyuri Singh, Vice President, Human Resources at Infogain India Pvt. Ltd., alongwith, Smt.
