Here is some good news for MBA aspirants! CMAT 2018 Notification announcing CMAT Dates and Registration process will be released shortlyby AICTE. Sharing the information with MBAUniverse.com last evening, AICTE Chairman Dr Anil Saharsabudhesaid, CMAT (and GPAT) Advisory Committee Meeting is scheduled on October 6 & 7, 2017. Immediately after this meeting, Notification regarding CMAT 2018 (and GPAT 2018) will be released. So get ready to register for CMAT 2018.

CMAT, conducted by AICTE which is the regulatory body for technical and management education in India, is one of Indias top MBA/PGDM Entrance exam. Around 60,000 candidates take the CMAT exam every year for admission to more than 500 AICTE approved management institutes.

CMAT 2018 is expected to be held in January 2018.

Immediately after release of CMAT 2018 Notification by AICTE in next few days, the online registration and application process for the exam will start and is expected to continue till mid December 2017.
CMAT 2018: Exam in January
CMAT 2018 is expected to remain a single day online computer based test. AICTE is expected to conduct CMAT 2018 in January next year. Last year, CMAT 2017 was held on January 28 across the country.
The CMAT 2018 is an important exam as it will be the last MBA entrance test offering admission opportunity in almost all the AICTE approved leading B-schools for the batch 2018-20.
CMAT 2018 Exam Pattern
The CMAT 2018 is expected to be a three hour computer based online test which is conducted in a single session. Exam is expected to have100 questions divided in 4 sections consisting 25 questions in MCQ format in each section:

Quantitative Technique,
Logical Reasoning,
Language Comprehension
and General Awareness.

No candidate is disqualified in CMAT
CMAT is a unique exam. CMAT does not disqualify any candidate. All the candidates who appear in CMAT 2018 and score non-zero positive marks, will be awarded a rank in the merit list with score and percentile. Each correct answer will be awarded 4 marks. Accordingly, score is awarded out of 400 marks. Candidates scoring between 200 and 300 marks can get percentile in the range of 90 to 99 depending upon their peer performance and difficulty level of the exam.
