MAT 2018 application process for May MAT exam will close on April 27, 2018 as advised by AIMA. You can fill up MAT 2018 Application only online as AIMA has discontinued the offline application process. However, one of the key changes in MAT May 2018 application form is that a candidate can appear both for Paper based as well as computer based test.
MAT May 2018 paper based test will be held on May 6 while the computer based MAT will be held from May 20, 2018 onwards in different time slots. There are more than 300 MBA colleges who will accept May MAT 2018 exam scores. To know about the MBA colleges accepting MAT score click here

MAT 2018 May exam scores will remain valid for one year. This implies that candidates will be able to apply for next year MBA/PGDM programmes also on the basis of their May MAT 2018 exam scores. Candidates exploring admission in MBA/PGDM 2018-20 batch can encash the opportunity to do MBA by registering and completing the MAT May 2018 Application Form by April 27.
Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a national level entrance test for admission to MBA/PGDM colleges where thousands of the aspirants test their skills. The test is conducted by AIMA (All India Management Association). There are 4 MAT tests in a year viz February, May, September and December.

How to complete MAT 2018 Application form
MAT 2018 May exam application process started on March 5. Candidates now need to apply online only as the offline MAT application process has been discontinued by AIMA. The last date to submit the MAT application form complete in all respect is April 27, 2018.

Opportunity to appear in PBT and CBT
AIMA has given the facility to apply for one MAT exam either for paper based or computer based test, or for both the paper based and computer based MAT 2018 May exams. AIMA has offered the facility to apply and appear both in paper based and computer based MAT exams with an extra fee payment of Rs.1100/-.
The MAT 2018 application form is to be submitted alongwith the MAT 2018 online registration form with exam fee of Rs 1550/- (Including GST) to appear in one MAT exam or Rs.2650/- for both paper based and computer based MAT exams.
Application process is Online only
You should submit online MAT 2018 application at AIMA website link for MAT 2018 May exam and can pay through Credit Card/Debit Card (ATM Card)/Net Banking
For candidates who complete the Online Application for MAT 2018 by

Uploading digital image of photograph,
Uploading digital image of signature, and
Online payment

Last Date to submit MAT 2018 Online Application form: April 27, 2018
(In this case, doNOTsend the printout of the MAT Application form. The candidate should retain a Printout of MAT Application Form for reference.)
No offline Application process
AIMA has discontinued submission of offline application form for MAT exam. Now the candidates cannot submit the MAT 2018 May application form offline in hard copy. The payment of MAT application fee by cash or by draft is not admissible now.
Documents required for MAT 2018 Application
Before starting to fill up the MAT 2018 online Application, you should keep ready with you the following details & documents

  • Valid Email ID (the email should be valid for at least 1 year)
  • Personal details
  • Educational qualification details
  • Image of scanned photograph in jpg / jpeg format and size should not exceed 50 KB
  • Image of scanned signature in jpg / jpeg format and size should not exceed 50 KB
  • Debit / Credit Card/Net Banking details in case making online payment.

Complete MAT application in 5 Steps

Step-1: Create login
New candidates applying for MAT 2018 May exam need to visit AIMA MAT website and click on New Candidate to Create Log in.
You have to fill the details to create Login. You must have a valid email ID for applying online. Press the button Submit. Once you fill the information in the form, it will not be changed.
The confirmation for the registration will also be sent on your email as entered in the form. Please note that the Email-ID and Date of birth as filled by you will be used to login to the website to fill the online application form.

Step 2: Fill the MAT Application form
Once you receive the registration number, you need to login as already registered candidate. You should now login with the registered id, complete the on-line application form, upload the scanned photograph and signature and make payment.

Step 3: Upload Images

Theimageshouldonlybein.jpgor.jpegformat.Sizeoffileshouldbenotbemorethan75kbandnotlessthan20kb.

SignonwhitepaperwithBlackinkpenandscanit.
Scanthesignatureareaonlyand nottheentirepage
Ensurethatthesizeofthescannedimageisnotmorethan50kb.
ThissignaturewouldappearontheAdmitCard,andifitdoesnotmatchthesignatureontheanswersheetatthe timeofthewrittentestandatthetimeofInterview,thecandidaturewillbecancelled.
The image of scanned signature in jpg/jpeg format and size should also not exceed 50KB and should not be less than 5KB

Step 4: Make payment
Payment of Application fee can be made through online Mode only. Accordingly, to make payment of MAT 2018 May exam application fee for Rs.1550/- or Rs.2650/- (As may be the case) you should keep your Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking in operation condition.
Please note once payment of application fee is made, you will not be allowed to change/modify any information in the application form.

Step 5: View Application summary
Your application is complete now. You can view the application details by clicking the button View Application and can take print out of the same for your record.
51 Test centres for paper based test
Out of 63 test cities in India and abroad, MAT 2018 May exam in paper based test will be conducted at 51 centres. The venues for paper pencil mode test and computer based tests will be different from one another.
A good number of MBA colleges in Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai and other parts of India have decided to accept MAT 2018 May exam scores for admission to their PGDM/MBA programmes commencing 2018 in July. However, the candidates shall have to submit their admission applications before the closing date in the respective B-schools if they are desirous to pursue the management course for the 2018-20 batch.
