Kellogg School of Management launches online research digest Kellogg Insight
The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University has launched Kellogg Insight, a Web-based research digest that highlights Kellogg faculty research.
Kellogg Insight brings together current research from the schools professors, doing so in a new format that emphasizes key findings. The digest consists of summaries that present research in an accessible way. It subjects like entrepreneurship, innovation, finance, international business, leadership, marketing and policy. Kellogg Insight takes detailed research articles published primarily in academic journals and makes them easily available to the general reader and time-starved business leader.
Through articles such as Do Leaders Matter? and Why Do IPO Auctions Fail? Kellogg Insight explores diverse and meaningful issues in a way that bridges theory and practice. Each month, Kellogg Insight will be refreshed with new articles.
Kellogg Insight summarizes key research findings for businesspeople and students, as well as educational peers and members of the media, said Dipak C. Jain, dean of the Kellogg School of Management. Whether visitors are looking to secure tips for work or simply find food for thought, they will find a topic that will pique their interest and spark creativity.
The site is accessible at the following link: http://insight.kellogg.northwestern.edu.
Kellogg Insight was developed in response to student and alumni requests for a digest that reflects an up-to-date account of what our faculty is producing, said Kathleen Hagerty, senior associate dean: faculty and research. This initiative will continue to be supported by the Kellogg School and a team of dedicated PhD and MBA candidate writers, as well as accomplished science writers, who work with faculty to summarize their research in a concise, compelling manner.
