Durgadevi Saraf Institute of Management Studies (DSIMS) was registered on October, 1958 under the aegis of Rajasthani Sammelan.
There are various programmes offered at DSIMS:
- Master of Management Studies - the flagship course of DSIMS is a two year full time program affiliated to the University of Mumbai. The fee for the course is Rs. 1.70 lakh and the total intake is 120.
- Post Graduate Diploma in Management is approved by AICTE and the government of Maharashtra, Department of Technical Education. The fee for course is Rs. 3 lakh and current student intake is 50.
- The Part-time Three Year Master's Degree courses - Masters in Marketing Management (MMM), Masters in Finance Management (MFM) and Masters in Human Resources Development (MHRDM)- these courses are approved By Govt. of Maharashtra, DTE and affiliated to University of Mumbai. The fee for the course is Rs. 1.10 lakh
- Executive Post Graduate Program in Supply Chain Management is 11 Month program spanning three terms, each term of ten weeks duration. The fee for this course is Rs. 1.25 lakh.
- Executive Program in Management has a fee of Rs. 40,000.
Exam Scores
Eligibility for admissions to DSIMS:
• Have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
• Preferably two years of full-time work experience after graduation.
• GMAT/CAT/CMAT/ATMA score
The institute evaluates your academic performance and there is no cut-off score.
The last date for PGDM form submission: 29th March 2013
Placements
As per the institute, the second batch of MMS 2011-13 and the inaugural batch of PGDM 2011-13, comprising 131 students in four specializations namely, Finance, Marketing, HR and Operations are available for Final Placement, the schedule for the same is as follows:
Pre-Placement Talks: Oct’12 onwards
Selection Process: Nov’12 onwards
Joining on full-time basis: From 1st. Week of April 13

Social Initiatives
The institute has a number of initiatives which serve a dual purpose of developing students and also helping the society in the process. Project Sahyog is a compulsory beyond classroom activity for all students where they engage with NGOs/SHGs/Corporate CSR departments.
Students also come up with a monthly newsletter SocioTimes. Another initiative “Diploma in Entrepreneurship and Business Planning for Women” aims at empowering women by enabling them to conceptualize, start, fund, run and sustain a successful business enterprise.
