IMI Delhi collaborates with Mercer Consulting

International Management Institute (IMI), New Delhi has collaborated with Mercer consulting. The collaboration will co-create the MBA course curriculum and enable delivery in subjects like Compensation & reward management, Performance management system and Learning & development to make it more industry relevant and provide exposure to the MBA students with better insights into the HR competencies and domain knowledge.

While giving his view on the collaboration, Mr Rajeev Grover, Global Head of Operations, Mercer said, We are enabling the HR students with industry relevant HR competencies and practices and at the same time enhancing their expertise of managing global workforce.

Dr Pritam Singh, Director General, IMI Delhi, said, Courses need to be designed to improvise students understanding right from the scratch and reanimate it from a global perspective. Without a global view, making of an efficient leader/manager is next to impossible.

Additionally, the students will be better prepared to the changing demands in the areas of Talent acquisition, HR operations, Benefit administration and Rewards management. India is now emerging as a major Human Resources hub for global organizations; this collaboration provides tremendous opportunities for the upcoming talents to take up roles and assignments in the field of HR in the country. As part of the collaboration the students will be interacting with the business managers of Mercer from time to time and opportunities in the form of internships and project work would be made available for providing working environment exposure.
