UPESMET 4: Online MBA admission test on June 7 & 8; Apply before June 6, 2014

University of Petroleum and Energy Studies -UPES, Dehradun will organize UPESMET-4 on June 7 & 8, 2014. It will be an online MBA Entrance Test for admission to 8 specialized MBA programs in the high growth sectors of Power, Energy, Infrastructure, Aviation, Port & Shipping, Business Analytics and International Business. Unique Test
UPESMET 4 is a completely online exam which the aspirants can take from any location in India, provided they have a laptop/desktop with a webcam and an internet connection. The exam will be conducted on 2 days with 3 exam slots each for every day.
Nature and pattern of exam
The test paper comprises 160 questions with 40 questions each from four sections listed below. The test will have to be attempted in 150 minutes. There is no negative marking in the test.
Section-1 General English comprising Reading comprehension, Verbal Reasoning and Verbal Ability
Section-2 Quantitative aptitude, Data Interpretation and data sufficiency
Section-3 General Awareness comprising General Knowledge on current affairs and business related
Section-4 Analytical and Logical reasoning
Important Dates & Venue Details
Exam will be held during a 2 day test window on June 7 & 8, 2014. Three Exam slots from 9.30 A.M. to 12; 12.30 to 3.00 P.M.; 3.30 to 6 P.M. will be available during the test window of two days.
Last Date to apply is June 6, 2014 and the Results will be declared on or before June 12, 2014.
Applicants will be shared a username and password and detailed instructions to take the test at the designated time slot.
Eligibility Criteria
The aspirants applying for UPESMET 2 need to have minimum 50% marks in both Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th and 12th respectively) as well as in graduation from a recognized university.
Last opportunity to pursue MBA at UPES
UPESMET 4 Online Test is for the last leg of admissions to the domain focused UPES MBA programs offered at the College of Management & Economics Studies (CoMES), UPES Dehradun. The students who do not have the minimum score in CAT/XAT (70 percentile), MAT/C-MAT (75 percentile) or have not appeared for any competitive exam, can appear for the UPESMET 4 Online Test for admission to a UPES MBA program.
