CMAT 2014 Score: Know the options in Delhi NCR with Admission Process

CMAT 2014 result has less number of candidates in the merit list as compared to CMAT Feb 2014 merit list which had almost twice the number of candidates. CMAT is conducted twice a year for the same admission year. Accordingly CMAT Sep 2014 was the first CMAT for the admission to PGDM batch 2015-17. Second CMAT for admission 2015 will be conducted sometime in the month of February 2015. In case a candidate is not able to score well in the first CMAT he/she can register and appear in second CMAT to improve the scores further to seek admission in better B school.

CMAT is conducted by AICTE to facilitate admission opportunity in AICTE approved B schools. But despite their names appearing in the list of AICTE approved institutions accepting CMAT scores, many B schools do not accept CMAT scores which creates confusion and neither these B schools get their names deleted from the List of AICTE approved B schools who are supposed to accept the CMAT scores nor AICTE takes care to update the list. As a result, these are the candidates who have to suffer in the process.

Following B schools not to accept CMAT scores

The comprehensive list of B schools accepting CMAT scores in Delhi mentions following B schools on AICTE site at the following link http://www.aicte-india.org/ FORE school of Management (Sl no. 9-15); LBSIM (Sl no. 19-22); International Management Institute (Sl no. 55 to 59). These B schools will not accept CMAT scores for admission year 2015-16 for their PGDM batch 2015-17.

Find your place in CMAT Sep 2014 Merit List. AICTE has awarded percentile scores along with raw scores in CMAT Sep 2014 result. If you have a good place in the list, you will stand a good chance in comparison to other exams. For example a CAT or XAT 90+ percentile does not reflect true score. The raw marks might have been very low but CMAT Sep 2014 1st rank holder at 323 out of 400 becomes 100 percentiler when the score of CAT/XAT/CMAT are compared.
