The process will follow the following 5 stages:

Stage-1: Candidates will apply for BITS Pilani MBA  admission by filling the application form

Stage-3: Applicants satisfying the eligibility criteria will be called for the Business Analytics Aptitude Test (BAAT), conducted by BITS Pilani. BAAT comprises of Management Aptitude Section and Analytics Aptitude Section.

7.1 BITS Pilani Shortlisting Criteria

• After submitting the application for admission, candidates will be required to appear for the Business Analytics Aptitude Test (BAAT) conducted by BITS Pilani
• Candidates will be shortlisted for Personal Interview based on their performance in the Business Analytics Aptitude Test (BAAT)
• Short listed applicants will be called for an Interview Process.

7.2 Final Selection Criteria

• All the shortlisted candidates will be called for the final selection process comprising PI round.
• Final admission will be based on overall performance in (i) the Business Analytics Aptitude Test (BAAT), (ii) Personal Interview and (iii) CAT / XAT / GMAT (if available) performance, along with prior work experience, and previous academic history.

7.3 BAAT 2023 Exam Pattern & Syllabus

• The Business Analytics Aptitude Test (BAAT) for admission to the Two-year (on-campus) MBA in Business Analytics in the Academic Year 2023-25 will comprise of a) Management Aptitude Section and b) Analytics Aptitude Section.
• Management Aptitude Section will be of 2 hours duration and will comprise MCQs

7.3.1 Syllabus for Business Analytics Aptitude Test (2023)
The overall and sectional syllabus for BAAT 2023 is as follows:

7.3.1.1 Management Aptitude Section: This section will measure management aptitude in three areas– Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension and Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning. The duration of this section of the test will be 2 hours and the questions will be multiple choice.

a) Verbal Ability: Verbal Reasoning, Sentence completion, Grammar, Syllogisms, Jumbled paragraphs, Para Completion and inference, Contextual usage, Foreign language words used in English, Reading Comprehension, Analogies, Sentence correction, Verbal Logic, Different usage of same word, Idioms, Parajumbles, Antonyms.
