In its CAT 2022 guidelines, IIM Bangalore has asked the candidates to follow the CAT 2022 exam day dress code and adhere to the CAT 2022 Exam Day Items to Carry or Not Carry to the test centre.

CAT Day Dress Code for Male & Female: Must Follow
IIM Bangalore has shared CAT exam day dress code for male and female which they need to follow meticulously. Any breach in following the CAT day dress code may cost the candidates denial of entry to the test centre. Following the CAT day dress code will make sure that you appear in the exam without getting subjected to different type of problems before or during the CAT exam.

CAT Day Dress Code & Things to Carry: CAT 2022 Exam Day Guidelines from IIMB

1. Girls not to wear any Jewellery or Metal Accessories Allowed
2. Girls should not apply Hena (Mehndi) on Palm side
3. No Shoes allowed with thick soles
4. Only Socks, plain pullovers, sweaters, cardigans that do not have any pockets are allowed in the testing lab
5. No Jackets, Coats with pockets are allowed
6. Candidates will not be allowed to wear garments with large buttons inside the CAT exam centre.
7. No electronic gadgets like mobile phones, watches, calculators are allowed.
8. No wallet, goggles should be carried to the CAT test centre
9. Candidates will undergo a frisking process and only CAT admit card, photo identity card, mask, sanitizer (50 ml), transparent water bottle, required medical certificate(s) and scribe affidavit (if any) would be permitted beyond the frisking point.
10. If any candidate is using metal implant, pacemaker, he/she will have to bring a supporting medical certificate of the same to the test centre.

Only a day remains for the CAT 2022 exam day which is on Sunday November 27. IIMs have issued specific dress code guide for the 2.56 lakh CAT aspirants who have registered to appear in CAT 2022 in a single day.
