4. CUSAT MBA Eligibility Criteria 2022
CUSAT MBA Eligibility criteria 2022 for admission 2022 has following key points

4.1 Academic Qualification for CUSAT MBA Eligibility Criteria 2022

• Bachelor’s degree in any subject with 50% marks in aggregate
• Candidates belonging to Kerala Scheduled Caste (KSC) and Kerala Scheduled Tribe (KST) communities are eligible for applying, if they have minimum pass marks in the qualifying degree
• SEBC candidates of Kerala State who are certified as belonging to non-creamy layer are eligible for 5% relaxation in the minimum required marks for qualifying degree.
•  Those who have studied Bachelor’s Degree through Off Campus / Distance Education / Centre for participatory programme, other than at IGNOU, must get their degrees recognized by CUSAT and submit the same at the time GD & Personal Interview, failing which they will not be permitted to appear for GD & Personal Interview.

4.2 Accepted Exam Score for CUSAT MBA Eligibility Criteria 2022
For the MBA programs of SMS, CUSAT, the admission will be based on the latest valid score in KMAT of Kerala or CAT of IIMs or CMAT of AICTE. No separate Admission Test by CUSAT for SMS MBA admissions will be conducted. However, you have to apply/register separately giving your Aptitude Test Score and required application fee in response to the CUSAT Notification. The scores of different tests taken by candidates will be normalised to a common score and this score will be used to shortlist candidates for the GD and Interview. Valid total score in any one of the following Management Aptitude Tests are accepted for CUSAT MBA Admission 2022

7.2 Important Points to Note

• The normalization procedure of the Scores in KMAT, CMAT and IIM-CAT will be decided by the University/Admission Committee.
• Any mismatch in the test marks given in the online application and the actual marks will result in disqualification of the candidature.
• Individual request for correcting the test marks entered wrongly in the online application will not be entertained after the edit option is over.

7.3 Reservation for experienced candidates in Part Time MBA

• 50% seats are reserved for candidates having a minimum of 3 years of supervisory / executive experience after taking the degree
• In the absence of sufficient number of eligible candidates from the Experienced category, vacant seats will be treated as open to all candidates
• Similarly, in the absence of sufficient number of candidates from non-experienced category, such vacant seats will be open to candidates from experienced category.

7.4 CUSAT MBA Community Reservation 2022
Rules for CUSAT MBA community reservation are framed by the Government of Kerala and are implemented by the University. Only candidates from ‘Socially and Educationally Backward Communities’ (SEBC) eligible for Kerala State community reservation will be considered for seats earmarked for such communities, provided that the eligibility for such reservation shall be subject to satisfactory verification of relevant Community as well as Annual Family Income certificates issued by competent revenue authorities as prescribed by the rules of the University in force.

8. CUSAT MBA Application Process 2022 
CUSAT MBA Application process 2022 is Online. The Registration for Academic Admission 2022-23 is a multi-step process. Before starting online registration for CUSAT MBA admission 2022, applicants should go through the CUSAT MBA admission 2022 prospectus carefully which contains the details how to complete CUSAT CAT MBA Application Form 2022 as well as how to fill CUSAT CMAT and KMAT MBA application form. Please note common online application and common rank list for both Full Time and Part Time MBA should be used. Step by Step CUSAT MBA Application process 2022 is detailed below:

STEP 1 -Registration:  Click on “NEW CANDIDATE REGISTRATION” button and submit details. All fields are mandatory. After submission of details, an activation link will be sent to the email address provided by the candidate. Email account once used/activated can’t be used again. On clicking the activation link (obtained in the email inbox), the user account will be activated. The user name will be candidate’s email address.

STEP 2 -Personal Details and Reservation: Read instructions carefully. Then click Start Registration button. Fill all personal details required in the form. In case of any doubt, please read the relevant part of prospectus once again. If a Candidate wishes to claim any CUSAT MBA 2022 Special Reservation, the same is to be selected in the left list box and move to the right box using ‘select’ button.

STEP 3- Photo and Signature Upload: You need to upload a recent passport size photograph of yourself with your well-lit face clearly visible, in portrait orientation. The file size of your photograph should not be larger than 500kb. The dimensions of the photo should be 150px X 180px. Upload a scanned image of your signature, in landscape orientation, with a file size not greater than 100kb. The dimensions should be 130px X 57px. The image format can be .png or .jpg or .jpeg.

STEP 4 -Programme Selection: Utmost care is to be taken while selecting the programmes. Select the programme or combination of programmes from the dropdown list. For example, if the candidate wishes to apply for Postgraduate programmes and MBA, selection of course should be done accordingly. Next, you should select the qualification which you are going to acquire or already acquired. On the basis of the qualification selected by you, list of programmes available in University will be listed. Candidate should add the programme(s), he/she wish to apply, to the right-side list box using select button. Then click “Confirm Courses” button.  After confirming courses, details of Test codes will be displayed. MBA applicants should enter: 1. For IIM - CAT : - Overall Percentile obtained 2. CMAT of AICTE : -Total NTA Score obtained 3. KMAT of Kerala : -KMAT total score obtained

STEP 5 -Short Preview:  After submitting course details, a short preview will be available. Candidate should check the short preview carefully. In case any change is needed, go to the required page, make corrections and save changes. Please note that after confirming the short preview, you will not be allowed to go back to the previous menu. After the successful submission of the application forms, permission will be given to the applicants to edit the personal and course details entered in the application form only once before the last date of application.

STEP 6 -Payment: After confirming the preview, online payment of application fee is to be made. Payment can be made through all Credit / Debit Cards or Net banking of almost all Banks. At this stage you may check the test centre availability. Please note that the centre availability is only indicative and is subject to change during the actual centre selection stage. The application process for MBA/ M.Tech programmes will be complete only on successful payment of application fees.

STEP 7- Centre selection:  After successful completion of payment, the list of available centres will be displayed. Candidate should select one of the test centres where seats are available. In the case of MBA and M Tech applicants, there will not be any separate Common Admission Test by CUSAT. After Centre Selection a final preview will be displayed, and candidate can go to his / her home page.

Verification by CUSAT:  Your application details will be verified and confirmed by the University. This may take a few days to process. After the approval the candidate can view and download the confirmation page from the candidate home page. The status of candidate’s application can be viewed from the candidate home page. Take a print out of the confirmation page and keep in custody for future requirements. Please note, no documents are to be sent to the University unless requested by the University.
