IBSAT Last Minute Preparation Tip-1: Focus on Vocabulary & RC
There are 50% Questions on Vocabulary & RC Passages in IBSAT. IBSAT 2019 exam will test the candidate’s ability in quantitative techniques, data interpretation, data adequacy, analytical reasoning, vocabulary and comprehension.  It is a comprehensive multiple choice question (MCQ) examination with a two hours duration.

Major share in the examination is consumed by Vocabulary (English) and Reading Comprehension with more than 50 percent questions and rest is divided among the other two sections.

Interestingly, the Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension are two separate sections in IBSAT exam. The number of questions in each section are:

IBSAT Last Minute Preparation Tip-2: Revise VA & RC
Not much time left for your IBSAT 2019 exam. However, a quick revisit to following topics can help you to improve your score in the exam:

Verbal Ability

  • Vocabulary Usage – Synonyms, Antonyms, Word Relation
  • Grammar Usage – Errors, Phrases, One word substitution, Fill in the Blanks
  • Jumbled Paragraphs

Reading Comprehension

  • You will find 2 passages with 8 questions each and two passage with 9 & 5 questions
  • RC passages are easy in IBSAT and are of 500- 600 words
  • Some questions are direct and factual, some are inferential
  • If you have good reading habits, it will not be difficult to attempt the RC Passages

IBSAT Last Minute Preparation Tip-3: Focus on Arithmetic to Crack Quantitative Ability

  • Go through Arithmetic questions like speed, distance and time, ratio proportion, work problems, heights, progressions, probability, percentages
  • Brush up a little geometry and analytical geometry

IBSAT Last Minute Preparation Tip-4: Focus More on DA in Data Adequacy and Data Interpretation

  • Key tips are to brush up the data adequacy and logical thinking problems

IBSAT Last Minute Preparation Tip-5: Keep Your IBSAT Admit Card
The hard copy of IBSAT 2019 Admit card is the mandatory document to be carried to the IBSAT exam centre. Before proceeding to the test centre, please check the following:

  • Your Details: Check your Name, DoB on IBSAT Admit Card
  • IBSAT 2019 Exam Date: Whether December 21 or 22, 2019
  • IBSAT Exam Centre: Check the correct details and address of your exam centre
  • Original ID Proof: Alongwith the IBSAT Admit card carry one original photo ID proof as mentioned in your admit card
  • Photo on Admit Card: Check the photo affixed on IBSAT Admit card
  • No Electronic gadgets: Do not carry electronic watches, mobiles, calculators or any other electronic item to the exam centre

Reach in Time
IBSAT 2019 is a computer based test. You are supposed to arrive at the IBSAT exam centre at least an hour before the test commencement time.

Don’t Panic: IBSAT is a Moderate Difficulty Level Exam
Going by the past trends and recently conducted All India Mock Test, IBSAT 2019 is a moderate difficulty level exam. Last year IBSAT was an easy exam. The difficulty level is not expected to go up this year also. Whatever you have prepared so far just brush it up before going to the test center. The highlights of past IBSAT exams are:

  • IBSAT paper remained easy on expected pattern
  • There was no Surprise Element in the IBSAT exam in last many years
  • Expected cut offs for top ICFAI B-schools not to change much
  • Section wise IBSAT exam analysis reflected the moderate exam with the questions not going beyond the IBSAT Syllabus as outlined by ICFAI Foundation
  • You can attempt 80-100 questions in IBSAT and can score high enough to get shortlisted by ICFAI Hyderabad.
  • There are all types of questions in the test paper and the difficulty level is evenly distributed.
