  • The shortlisting by IIFT will be done for all the IIFT campuses located at Delhi and Kolkata
  • IIFT decides the minimum section wise and overall cut off in its entrance exam at the time of shortlisting.
  • If the candidate does not score minimum prescribed percentile in IIFT entrance exam, he/she is not considered for shortlisting for final selection stage.
  1. IIFT Final Admission Selection Round Criteria
  • All the shortlisted candidates are eligible to participate in Final selection round for admission to MBA (IB) at IIFT
  • Final Selection Round consists of Writing Skills Assessment, Group Discussion and Interview
  • It is applicable equally for admission to Delhi, Kolkata Campuses

If you had registered and applied for IIFT 2020 MBA- IB Entrance test, you could correct your registration and application form mistakes from November 5, to November 7, 2019 till 11.50 PM.  National Testing Agency which conducted IIFT 2020 exam as computer based test had revised the NTA-IIFT 2020 application particulars correction dates after extending the last date of registration.

Key parameters in IIFT Admission Criteria 2020-22 were based on IIFT exam score – overall as well as sectional. Even a 40 to 50 percent score in IIFT entrance exam awards a high percentile of 70 to 90 and the admission cut off also lies within this range.

It is mandatory for the candidates who wish to pursue MBA (International Business) from IIFT to register and apply for IIFT entrance exam and must appear in the IIFT entrance exam. A balanced score in all the sections of IIFT 2020 entrance exam and good academic profile has remained the key to get admission in MBA (IB) 2020-22 at one of the campuses of Indian Institute of Foreign Trade.

IIFT Admission Eligibility

  1. IIFT eligibility criteria require that the candidate must hold a recognized bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (in case of the candidate belonging to SC/ST/PwD category, the eligibility criterion is relaxed to 45%
  2. The candidate should appear in IIFT entrance exam and must score minimum prescribed sectional and overall score to become eligible for admission at IIFT (MBA IB)
  3. If the candidate is awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, the equivalence to determine PGP admission eligibility would be based on the equivalence certified by the institution/university from where the bachelor's degree is obtained. In case the institution/university does not have any scheme for converting the CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by IIFT by dividing the obtained CGPA by the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the resultant by 100 to confirm the Admission eligibility of the candidate.
  4. A candidate appearing for the final year bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed the degree requirements and are awaiting results is also eligible to apply for IIFT Admission
