India’s most prestigious management education conference is back! IIM Kozhikode, one of the top management institutes in the country, is the Partner and Host institution for the 12th edition of INDIAN MANAGEMENT CONCLAVE (IMC) 2022. The conference will be held on December 9-10, 2022 at the picturesque IIM Kozhikode campus.

IIM Kozhikode joins India’s leading management institution who have hosted IMC conference, and shared their expertise with leaders and decision-makers from more than 100 progressive B-schools and Universities who religiously attend the conference.
6th IMC 2015, the first IMC conference to be held outside the home city of Delhi, was hosted by Indian School of Business (ISB) in Hyderabad in 2015. Keynote speakers included Mr Dilip Shanghvi, MD, Sun Pharmaceutical. ISB Former Dean Prof Ajit Rangnekar led the conference discussions.
In 2016, IIM Ahmedabad hosted the 7th IMC 2016 at its iconic campus at the Ravi Mathai auditorium. Keynote speakers included Mr RS Sodhi, MD, GCMMFL – AMUL. IIM A Former Director Dr Ashish Nanda and IIM A Dean Dr Arvind Sahay led the conference discussions.
IIM Lucknow hosted the 8th IMC 2017 at its Noida campus. Keynote speakers included Mr Raman Roy, Former Chairman, NASSCOM. IIM Lucknow Former Director Late Dr Ajit Prasad led the conference discussions.
Thereafter, conference move to South India, when IIM Bangalore hosted the 9th IMC 2018 at its campus. Keynote speakers included Dr Jikyeong Kang, President & Dean, Asian Institute of Management (AIM), Manila and Dr Scott DeRue, Former Dean, Stephen M. Ross School of Business, University of Michigan. IIM B Former Director Dr G Raghuram, IIM B Deans Dr PD Jose and Dr Sourav Mukherjee led the conference discussions.
To celebrate the 10th Anniversary, IMC returned back to its roots. IMC celebrated its 10th Anniversary on August 2-3, 2019 in New Delhi with Former President of India Late Shri Pranab Mukherjee as our Chief Guest. Highlights are available on www.mbauniverse.com/imc2019.
Due to Covid 19 pandemic, the 11th edition of IMC conference saw a delay of more than a year. The conference returned in its full glory in December 2021, when MDI Gurgaon hosted the 11th IMC 2021 on December 20-21. Keynote speakers included Shri C P Gurnani, MD &CEO, Tech Mahindra. MDI Gurgaon Director Dr Rajesh Chakrabarti led the conference discussions.
IIM Kozhikode – A champion of diversity and Indian wisdom
After ISB, IIMA, IIML, IIMB and MDI, IIM Kozhikode is a perfect host for the 12th edition of IMC Conference. Established in 1997, IIMK is one of the fastest growing top management institutions in India. Dr Debashis Chatterjee, the Director at IIM Kozhikode, too needs no introduction. He is a well-known champion of gender diversity (IIMK was the first IIM to admit 53% women way back in 2013), and a staunch advocate of Indian wisdom. He set up the first ever Indian Business History Museum at IIM K with contributions from the top Indian business houses. Before IIMK, Dr Chatterjee was the Dean IR and Chairperson-Placements at IIM Lucknow, which he joined in 1996. While Dr Chatterjee is a well-known academic leader, he is an equally celebrated author with more than 15 books on leadership.
As a thought leader, Dr Chatterjee has had a long association with IMC conference. Recalling the same, Dr Chatterjee said, “Having addressed the inaugural session of the first IMC conference in 2010 in New Delhi, it has been fulfilling to have witnessed this conference grow in stature to become one of the most respected annual management conferences, bring together the crème de la crème of Thought Leaders, Policy makers, Decision makers, Educators and other Stakeholders.”
