IIMN is expanding this programme further.

In order to give its students adequate exposure, IIM Nagpur currently organizes international immersion programmes with selected countries/locations including Japan, Singapore, South Korea, France, and Dubai.

In this programme, the students are exposed to international business environments and cultures that are different from their home business environment. Some students get an opportunity to work on live projects with companies incorporated in some of the above countries. This helps them in being better prepared for careers in a highly dynamic global business world.

Field Immersion Module at IIM Nagpur: An Industry Connect Programme
The Field Immersion Module at IIM Nagpur offers an opportunity for MBA students to interact with the industry. Not only does the module expose students to the actual day-to-day functioning of an organization, but it also allows them to apply managerial know-how that they learn in their classes, to real-life issues.

The module is mandatory for all the 1st year students and is positioned between the students’ second and third terms during their MBA. After getting equipped by this time, with the fundamentals of accounting, finance, strategy, marketing, human resource management and entrepreneurship, and  the skills to analyze organizational scenarios head-on, Students are attached to participating organizations from four broad sectors:

  • Government and Infrastructure
  • Industry and Business (Small and Medium Enterprises)
  • Agriculture, Food Processing and Rural Development and

IIM Nagpur Admission: Criteria, Cut off, Eligibility, Selection Process and Weightages
IIM Nagpur admission criteria 2022 consist of many other parameters apart from CAT 2021 exam score for shortlisting the candidates for final selection round. Also, IIM Nagpur conducts its own PI-WAT round for final selection instead of participating in Common Admission Process (CAP) for new IIMs.

The Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) of IIM Nagpur is a master’s level programme and is the flagship programme offered by IIM Nagpur. The 2 years Post Graduate Programme (PGP) at IIM Nagpur has been accorded equivalence with Master’s degree of an Indian University by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) for the purpose of admission to higher studies.

Admission Process to Identify Suitable Candidates
IIM Nagpur Admission Criteria seek to identify the most promising candidates for the PGP batch of 2022. The Institute uses parameters like Past Academic Performance in 10th standard examination, 12th standard examination and Bachelor’s degree examination, candidates’ scores in CAT, academic and gender diversity, work experience to shortlist the candidates for final selection round. The performance in Personal Interview and Written Ability Test are meant to judge the suitability of candidates for the PGP program. Besides, relevant work experience, if any, is also given weight in the admission process.

Less Weightage to CAT 2021 Score
IIM Nagpur will use the CAT 2021 score to establish the minimum level of proficiency that is expected from the candidate in respective areas as indicated by section wise minimum scores in the CAT. While in the shortlisting process, CAT 2021 score is awarded 30% weight, in the final selection criteria, the weight for CAT exam score is only 15%.  Multiple criteria are used to arrive at a Final Score while making final admission offer. IIM Nagpur admission criteria 2022 adopt a phased selection process and the selection criteria are applied in three phases. The admission criteria, parameters and weights used are uniform for all categories of candidates.

It is mandatory for the candidates who wish to pursue MBA from IIM Nagpur to have appeared in the CAT 2021 exam on November 28, 2021 and should have scored well. A balanced score in all the three sections of CAT 2021 and good academic profile remains the key to get admission in IIM Nagpur.

IIM Nagpur Admission Criteria
IIM Nagpur Admission criteria 2022 is a three step process – Pre shortlisting criteria, Shortlisting criteria for PI-WAT with  30% weight for CAT 2021 score, followed by Final admission selection Criteria comprising PI-WAT with only 15% weightage to CAT 2021 score.

IIM Nagpur uses multiple parameters and award high weightage to academic performance in Class 10 and 12, bachelor’s degree as well as the section wise scores in CAT exam to judge the suitability of candidates for the PGP programme.
