The placement 2025 season at IIM Ranchi saw participation from leading companies across the sectors. BFSI and Fintech emerged as the dominant hiring sectors, followed by Consulting, E-commerce, FMCG, IT, and Manufacturing. IIM Ranchi MBA Average Salary 2025 stood at Rs 19.24 lakhs per annum (LPA), an increase of 3 percent over last year. The Placement report was released by Prof. Deepak Kumar Srivastava, Director, IIM Ranchi; Prof. Tanushree Dutta, Dean of Academics, IIM Ranchi and Prof. Rajeev Verma, Chairperson of Corporate Relations. In line with industry trends, IIM Ranchi focusses on multidisciplinary learning. Students underwent training across over 24 electives including AI Strategy, Strategic HRM, Digital Marketing, and Design Thinking, equipping them for dynamic roles such as Tech Strategy Consultant, Business Analyst, Risk Manager, and Marketing Research Manager. Prof. Srivastava credited the institute’s placement performance to its evolving curriculum and strong corporate engagement. “Our students’ holistic development through multidisciplinary learning gives them a competitive edge in the job market,” he said.

IIM Ranchi IPM Placements
IIM Ranchi launched 5 year Integrated Programme in Management for class 12 pass students from the academic session 2021-22. The first batch of IIM Ranchi IPM will pass out in 2026 and its placement process will be conducted along with MBA placements. The Five Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) offered by IIM Ranchi, is a Dual Degree Programme for Young Students. IPM is a combination of 3 years undergraduate degree + 2 years MBA degree programme. The programme is meant for young students who have passed class 12 and have managerial and leadership aspirations. IPM carries the IIM Ranchi brand ensuring good career growth in management career.
