Department of Management Studies (DMS) at IIT Delhi has yet again recorded 100% Placement for its MBA 2020-22 batch with 18% hike in average salary at Rs.21.9 LPA and 8% hike in highest salary at Rs.36.7 LPA. The median salary for the batch also goes up by 27% at Rs.20.6 LPA. More than 25% students were placed in Sales & Marketing domain. Rockwell, Texas, Accenture, Barclays, Capgemini, Deloitte, EXL, KPMG, McKinsey are among the top recruiters

The Department of Management Studies (DMS) at IIT Delhi has yet again recorded 100% Placement for its MBA 2020-22 batch with 18% hike in average salary which has gone up at Rs.21.9 lakhs from Rs.18.50 lakhs last year with top companies making placement offers across the domains.

On successful completion of 100% MBA placements 2022, Prof Seema Sharma, HoD, Department of Management Studies at IIT Delhi said, “The Department of Management Studies, IIT Delhi takes great pride in nurturing some of the country’s best and brightest executives. The variety of companies also brought a huge range of profiles for the candidates. Profiles in Sales & Marketing spanned across Pre- sales consultant, Marketing leadership, Sales specialist, Associate Director Sales. Finance domain witnessed profiles ranging from Project Finance, FMP, Financial Risk Specialist. Operations domain also saw many sought after profiles like strategic sourcing, Digital Operations, and Program manager. As for the IT, Consulting & Analytics domain, the profiles ranged from IT Leadership, Business Development, Senior Business Analyst, Risk Advisory and so on.

Sales & Marketing domain emerged as the most favoured choice of students, with 25.3% of the batch receiving offers for roles such as Product Manager, B2B Sales Consultant, Marketing Management Trainee, Sales Management Trainee, Business Analyst and Business Development. Industry players like Rockwell Automation, Texas Instruments, ICICI, Optum, Medtronic, GE Healthcare, Tata Consumer Products, HashedIn among others were the prominent recruiters in this domain

Strategy and Consulting: 23.8% Share in Placement 2022
Strategy & Consulting was the second most favored domain in which students received final placement offers. Some of the regular and new recruiters in this domain were Bain & Company, McKinsey & Company, Accenture Strategy & Consulting, Publicis Sapient, Deloitte, Infosys Consulting, PwC, KPMG, Takshashila Consulting who offered coveted profiles such as Associate Consultant, Capabilities & Insights Consultant, Cybersecurity Management Consultant, Strategy and Management Consultant, Business Consultant, Pre-sales consultant among others

IT & Analytics: 18.1% Share in Placement 2022
IT and Analytics domain saw students with diverse full time offers in coveted profiles, such as Data Analyst, IT Leadership, Product Specialist, Business Analyst, Marketing Analyst. Some of the regular and new recruiters in this domain were McKinsey & Company, EXL Services, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini, Paytm, Jio Saavn, Tiger Analytics, Axtria among others

Supply Chain and Operations: 17.3% Share in Placement 2022
Supply Chain and Operations saw recruiters like Reckitt, Flipkart, Amway, AB InBev, Bajaj Electricals, Thoucentric, Dr. Lal Path Labs offering roles such as Supply Chain Management Trainee, Program Manager, Quality and Process Excellence, Operations Strategy to the students.

Finance: 10.5% Placement Share
Finance domain was not far behind the other domains in terms of students’ preference. DMS, IIT Delhi witnessed industry giants like BNY Mellon, Barclays, Deloitte, Wipro, GE Renewable Energy, DE Shaw, Anand Rathi Financial Services, etc. for challenging profiles, such as Financial Services Consulting, Wealth Management, Finance Associate, Finance Manager, Portfolio Monitoring among others.

General Management: 5% Share in Placement 2022
General Management domain saw 5.0% of the batch being offered roles like General Management Trainee, Employee Experience Management, Human Resource Management in leading organizations such as Microsoft, Indegene, Gartner among others.
