KSRM was established in 2006 and its flagship programme MBA (Rural Management) was started in 2007. KSRM started specialised programmes to cater to emerging needs of the development sector. Accordingly, Post Graduate Diploma in Community Development (PGDCD) was launched in 2016 and Bachelors in Business Administration (Rural Management) was launched in 2017.  MBA (Agribusiness Management) programme at KSRM was launched in 2019 which has been highly appreciated.
