MAT 2020 February Exam result is released on AIMA MAT official website on February 25. The candidates who appeared in MAT 2020 in either CBT exam on Feb 2 or PBT exam on Feb 16, 2020 can download their MAT score card from official MAT exam result website with their MAT login ID and Roll Number.

No MAT Score Card will be sent through post to the candidates. AIMA had already announced, “Candidates have to download the MAT Score from AIMA website” The MAT February 2020 exam result is the gateway to more than 300 MBA colleges who will accept MAT exam score for MBA admission 2020.

Apart from these 300 MAT score accepting Management Institutes, more MBA colleges in Maharashtra and other parts of India will be accepting MAT exam score. AIMA has announced, “MAT Score is acceptable even to certain other Institutes for considering admission of candidates for Post Graduate Degree / Diploma programmes, besides the above Institutes, subject to specific cut-off marks and other admission parameters.”

MAT Result: Scoring Pattern: Check your percentile

Each individual MAT exam is held after 3 months, the test may be slightly more or less difficult than another. These slight differences are accounted for during the scaling process. As a result of these adjustments, equal scaled scores represent about the same level of ability, as measured by the test, regardless of the administration or when the test was taken.

Each MAT result score-report contains 6 scores: Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis & Sufficiency, Intelligence & Critical Reasoning, Composite Score and Indian & Global Environment.

Scores on Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Data analysis & Sufficiency and Intelligence & Critical Reasoning are reported on scales ranging from 0 to 100. Scores below 20 or above 80 are rare.

The Composite Score in MAT 2020 result will be reported on a scale ranging from 199 to 801, but extreme scores below 200 or above 800 are uncommon. These uncommon scores i.e., all below 200 are reported as 199 and all above 800 are reported as 801.

For the score on section - Indian & Global Environment , a separate score is reported on a scale from 0 to 100 as this section is not taken into account to calculate the percentile score and merit position. Again the scores below 20 or above 80 are rare in this section. Accordingly, the composite Score in MAT result is arrived at using the first 4 sections of the test only because these sections relate to specific skills that one acquires over a long period of time. Equal weightage is assigned to all these 4 sections.

The score scales for the first four sections and the composite scores are based on the performance of applicants who took the test in 1996. They were defined in a way that a score of about 50 in a section and about 500 on composite scale represent the average performance of that group.

Along with the six scores, a percentile figure will also be given in the MAT result, below the score in the score card for MAT Result. Each of these indicate the percentage of examinees who scored below the candidate based on the entire MAT testing population for the test. The percentile figure may change marginally with each MAT exam.

If lost, get duplicate Score card from AIMA

Provision of getting a duplicate score card for the test from AIMA is also available.

 A duplicate score card can be obtained by following the procedure given below:

• Application on plain paper requesting for a duplicate Score Card.
• Photocopy of the lower half of the Admit Card, which was handed over at the test centre duly signed by the invigilator Or Some Govt ID proof.
• Self addressed envelope having :

a) Size 24 cms x 12 cms (approx)
b) Candidate address written in capitals
c) Postage stamp of Rs. 40/- affixed for sending by Speed Post.

Request for duplicate Score Card as above without any fee will be entertained upto 15 days of the declaration of the results. All requests for duplicate Score Card received thereafter will have to be accompanied with a demand draft of Rs. 100/- drawn in favour of ‘All India Management Association”, payable at New Delhi.

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a national level entrance test for admission to PGDM institutes where thousands of the aspirants test their skills. The test is conducted by AIMA (All India management Association). Usually there are 4 MAT tests in a year February, May, September and December.
