New Delhi Institute of Management (NDIM) New Delhi, one of the leading management institutes in Delhi NCR has been awarded by AICTE, CII as the Best Industry Linked Management Institute of India for second year in row in 2018 out of the institutes which participated in the AICTE survey. The survey is developed by CII in close consultation and coordination with AICTE with the objective of mapping the industry linkages of institutes
New Delhi Institute of Management (NDIM) New Delhi, one of the leading management institutes in Delhi NCR has been awarded as the ‘Best Industry Linked Management Institute of India’ out of the institutes which participated in the AICTE survey. The emergence of NDIM as the Best Industry Linked Institute was second year in row in 2018. NDIM achieved this rare feat in 2017 also.
The survey has been developed by CII in consultation with AICTE with the objective of mapping the industry linkages of institutes. From that perspective, its objective is different from that of the government ranking which is meant to inform parents about the performance of institutes. The purpose of this survey is to inform industry about best institutes to scout talent from.
The Survey 2018 was the 7th Survey conducted by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). The survey was conducted for the AICTE approved technical institutions offering education in the areas of Engineering, Management and Pharmacy.
AICTE & CII Examine 3 Years Data on 13 Parameters
Past three years data on 13 parameters were examined by AICTE and CII before New Delhi Institute of Management (NDIM) was declared the winner.
The Best in the Management Category award was conferred to NDIM after a rigorous selection process. Both the AICTE and CII examined 3 years of data under 13 parameters ranging from placements, internships, industry lectures, faculty / industry training, entrepreneurship & innovation among others.
NDIM got through all the parameters and earned this Honor and National Recognition. ASSOCHAM, India's Oldest & Largest Chamber of Commerce & Industry has also awarded NDIM as 'The Most Preferred B-School - North India' in 2019.
AICTE-CII Survey: Winner B-Schools
AICTE-CII survey to select the best institutes was started in 2013. Apart from NDIM New Delhi, other institute which has emerged winner in Management category in AICTE-CII survey is Welingkar Institute of Management which emerged as winner in 2015 and 2016. Prior to that XLRI and IMI New Delhi had emerged as winners. The list of winners since inception is as below:

In the management category, NDIM New Delhi was the only management institute which cleared the hurdle and emerged as the winner among more than 9500 institutes. The participation in AICTE CII Survey is mandatory for all the AICTE approved institutes.

The 13 survey parameters of AICTE-CII include Placements, Internships, Corporate Connect, Quality of Faculty & Course Curriculum, Innovation, Research, Corporate Training and Credentials of the Board of Directors among others.
