NMAT Registration 2019 opens on July 2 and the last date to apply is October 3, 2019. NMAT is the only exam acceptable to MBA admission in NMIMS University and is one of the key exams for admission in 30 other top MBA colleges including SPJIMR, ISB, VIT, XIMB among others. The fee for NMAT 2019 registration remains same as of last year at Rs.2000/- without late fee, and Rs.2500/- with late fee

GMAC, the NMAT exam conducting body has announced the dates for NMAT Registration and Application process, exam dates, rescheduling and retake and the NMAT exam result. NMAT 2019 Registration date starts on Tuesday July 2, 2019. There is no change or any upward revision in the NMAT Registration fee for NMAT exam 2019 which will be held from October 4 to December 17, 2019.

Announcing the NMAT Registration dates, the test conducting authority – GMAC has shared the last date for NMAT Registration as October 3, 2019.  The registration fee remains at Rs.2000/- + taxes as was last year and the late fee for NMAT 2019 registration is Rs.500/- as was last year.

NMAT is the mandatory exam for MBA admission in NMIMS University Mumbai. More than other 30 MBA colleges, universities including SPJIMR, VIT, ISB, XIMB will accept NMAT exam scores for MBA admission 2020 apart from NMIMS, Mumbai for different management programmes.  Read More about the NMAT Registration

The NMAT exam will be held in a 75 days testing window from October 4 to December 17, 2019. If you wish to seek admission in MBA programme at NMIMS University in 2020, NMAT is the only answer to your search. The School of Business Management (SBM) of SVKM’s NMIMS, Deemed to be University is India’s one of top ten highly ranked premier business schools. NMIMS accepts the scores of only NMAT exam for domestic candidates. Accordingly, the admission to 2 years full time MBA, MBA-HR & MBA-Pharmaceutical Management at Mumbai Campus, PGDM at Bengaluru Campus and PGDM at Hyderabad Campus for the academic year 2020-21 will be through NMAT Exam 2019 performance. Apart from NMIMS, the scores of NMAT will be accepted for admission to MBA programmes by other 30 MBA colleges and universities.

NMAT Registration Fee: Unchanged
The NMAT Registration fee for NMAT 2019 exam has not been revised upwards and remains at the last year level at Rs.2000/- without late fee, and Rs.2500/- with late fee.

If you complete your NMAT registration latest by October 3, 2019, you pay only Rs.2000/- but if you opt for Late NMAT Registration after October 3, the NMAT Registration with late fee is Rs.2500/-. Check NMAT Fee for all Services

Finalize your NMAT Registration Early
The NMAT registration process is online. Since the NMAC by GMAC registration window is spread through three months from July 3 to October 3, 2019, the candidates who finalise their registration early can get their preferred test centre, test date as they can self-schedule their NMAT exam date during this registration window. GMAC has clarified, ‘The test takers will get to choose the date, time slot and location of their preference subject to availability on a First come First Serve basis.’

Test Taker Friendly Modifications in NMAT Registration
The NMAT registration 2019 has brought a few modifications that could be helpful to the prospective test takers.  There are increased options in the registration process.

NMAT Registration process Simplified
GMAC has introduced more simplified features in the NMAT exam Registration process. There are more online registration login methods to facilitate the registration process without the need to remember every time a new password.

Choice of More Test Centres
At the time of finalizing the registration and application process for NMAT by GMAC, candidates have the option to choose from the 58 test centres in 44 test cities in India and 4 international locations.

More ways to Pay NMAT Exam Fee
GMAC has introduced more payment methods to pay NMAT Registration fee 2019. Now the NMAT 2019 exam fee can be paid through Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Debit Card, Net Banking, Diners Club and Mobile Wallets

NMAT Exam 2019: Pattern Unchanged
The NMAT exam structure and content remains unchanged in 2019 and remains on the 2018 test pattern. Sharing this fact with MBAUniverse.com, Vikram Shah, Director, Product Management, Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) says “There is no change in the content of the test from last year. If there are any changes brought in by GMAC in the content of the test then GMAC will notify the candidates and schools well in advance and not at the last minute.”

NMAT Exam 2019 is to remain a computer based objective type multiple-choice test as per last year exam pattern. No descriptive questions will be asked in NMAT 2019 exam.

There will be 120 questions divided in 3 sections in the NMAT exam with a test duration of 2 hours. It means the aspirant will have 1 minute per question to solve.

The NMAT will give each candidate a randomly generated test from a pool of questions, delivered one-at-a-time. The number of questions, difficulty levels, and the time limit for each of the sections is predetermined and, are the same.

Choice of Sectional Order
NMAT allows candidate to choose the section order before they start their test. The time limit for each of the 3 sections in NMAT exam is fixed and candidates should complete each section within the time limit provided. Candidates are therefore, not allowed to move between the sections during the test.
