US, UK and France B-schools have retained their dominance in securing the top 10 positions in the 6th edition of the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Global Executive MBA (EMBA) Ranking 2022, administered by the QS World University Ranking Team and released on June 23, 2022. From India, IIM Bangalore, ISB and IIM Kozhikode are ranked in this survey. QS Global Executive MBA Ranking is evaluated on nine parameters which are grouped in five indicators on Career Progression, Diversity, Employer Reputation, Executive Profile, and Academic Reputation.
The Executive MBA programs offered by IESE Business School, HEC Paris and Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania are ranked No 1, 2, 3 respectively. From India, IIM Bangalore Executive MBA (PGEP) Program is ranked #46 and is the only B-school in India to have been ranked among top 50 B-schools of the world; ISB PGP is ranked among top 120 Global Executive MBA programs; IIM Kozhikode EMBA (MBA for Working Executives) is ranked 171+ in the world in the QS Global Executive MBA Ranking 2022. IIM Kozhikode has made hat-trick in getting ranked among top B-schools in the world for its EMBA (EPGP) programme which has been ranked No.3 in India for 3rd consecutive year in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Global Executive MBA (EMBA) Ranking 2022.
Speaking on the achievement, Prof. Debashis Chatterjee, Director IIM Kozhikode, said, “The hat trick of appearances in one of the most prestigious Global rankings is a testimony to the Institute’s consistent and resolute pursuit of a holistic and intense approach to learning. The EPGP programme, now into its 15th year not only endeavours to create business opportunities but also to develop strategic thinking and leadership competencies.” IIM Kozhikode had also leapfrogged two spots to be Ranked #4 in NIRF India Rankings 2021: Management, released by the Ministry of Education, last year.

Only the B-schools with one of the international accreditations namely, AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS or EPAS are considered for the ranking. The Stringent QS evaluation witnessed only 194 global Executive MBA programs from 48 countries eventually qualifying to participate in ranking 2022. IIMK has improved its overall score to 28.0 from 26.7 (2021) and 25.6 (2020), and has consistently featured in the rankings list since its global debut in 2020.
