SIMSREE offers the Masters of Management Studies (MMS) course, a Two Year Full -Time post graduate degree course affiliated to the University of Mumbai, since 1983. This course is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The program is conducted under the directions of the University of Mumbai with specializations offered in the areas of Finance, Marketing, Operations, Systems and HR.
PGDBM – Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management: Intake 60
SIMSREE offers a Two Year Full -Time Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) course approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. PGDBM is the only fully autonomous management programme offered by the Government of Maharashtra and run exclusively by and at SIMSREE.
SIMSREE Admission Process
SIMSREE Mumbai has announced its admission policy and process for MMS 2018-20 batch and PGDBM 2018-20 batch. The admission process is governed by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra. The candidates need to participate in DTE Centralized Admission process (CAP) to get into SIMSREE.
MMS/PGDBM admissions in Sydenham institute of Management Studies, Research and Entrepreneurship Education (SIMSREE) are open for Maharashtra as well as outside Maharashtra candidates till May 2018
No Separate Application needed
Candidates do not require to apply separately to SIMSREE. Admissions to the institute will be handled by Centralized Allotment Process. However, it is mandatory for the candidates to register and participate in DTE CAP in the last week of May 2018 at the designated centre.
SIMSREE Shortlisting criteria
Different exam scores will be accepted for Maharashtra State (MS) category and All India (AI) category candidates as per the DTE guidelines.
MS Category: Score of MAHCET 2018 will be accepted for Maharashtra State candidates.
AI Category: Score of MAHCET 2018, CAT 2017 and CMAT 2018 will be considered in admission process for MMS 2018-20 batch for All India category candidates.
As per the DTE Maharashtra notification dated October 18, 2017, only those All India category candidates will be considered for admission who have appeared in MAHCET 2018, CAT 2017 or CMAT 2018 exams.
Accordingly, shortlisting of the All India category candidates for admission to SIMSREE will be made on the basis of their performance in MAHCET 2018, CAT 2017 or CMAT 2018 exam scores. No other entrance exam scores will be accepted by DTE Maharashtra for admission to SIMSREE.
Maharashtra State category candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in MAHCET 2018 exam, the result of which was declared on March 19, 2018.
Weightage to all the examinations is 100 percent and if a candidate has appeared in more than one examination, his better score will be taken into account. If the candidate has appeared in MAHCET and has scored high, this score will supersede the other exam scores.
No separate cutoff will be individually applied by SIMSREE. There will be Maharashtra B schools Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) conducted by DTE Maharashtra, to be conducted in last week of May 2018. Candidates will be allotted institutes on the basis of CAP. Thus there will be only one admission round common to all the B-schools including SIMSREE.
Expected Cut offs
Post declaration of MAHCET 2018 exam result, SIMSREE Mumbai cut offs are expected to go up as compared to last year both for the Maharashtra State (MS) category as well as All India (AI) category candidates. Following are the expected slot wise cut offs across all the four slots of MAHCET 2018 exam held on March 10 and 11 for Maharashtra State (MS) and All India (AI) category

The cut off percentile range for Maharashtra State Home University (MS-HU) category is expected to remain around 95 percentile, while for All India (AI) category candidate it would be around 97 percentile in MAHCET 2018 exam.

Course fee for MMS and PGDBM at SIMSREE is Rs. 67,000/- annually + Rs. 2000/- Library Fees (Refundable). The two years fee comes to Rs. 136,000/- including refundable amount of Rs.2000/-
