Xavier School of Management (XLRI) Jamshedpur will conduct Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2021 on Sunday, January 3, 2021 from 9.30 AM to 12.30 PM as a computer based test in 72 cities. XAT 2021 scores will be used by XLRI, SPJIMR, XIMB, IMT, all XAMI institutions and also by more than 150 other associated B-schools for MBA/PGDM admission 2021.
Close on the heels of CAT 2020, the notification for next big MBA entrance exam - XAT 2021 was released on September 7, 2020 making it clear that despite the Covid-19 challenges, arrangements are being made to conduct large exams in a safe environment. More than one lakh candidates are expected to register and apply for XAT 2021.
Since XAT is conducted on the first Sunday of January every year, XLRI has not broken the legacy of 70 years in convening the XAT 2021 also. The registration for XAT 2021 is open from September 10 till November 30, 2020 midnight.
XAT 2021: Key Highlights
XAT exam 2021 is divided in 4 sections comprising MCQ type questions on Quantitative Ability; English Language & Logical reasoning; Decision Making and General Awareness (GK).
Below are the key highlights and changes in XAT 2021 exam:
- XAT 2021 Registration fee has increased to Rs.1750 from Rs.1700 last year
- XAT is changed to a computer based test from paper based test
- XAT 2021 will be a Single slot, single day exam
- XAT is 3 hours duration exam from 9.30AM to 12.30PM
- Total questions are 100
- Few Questions without negative marking introduced

XLRI has introduced common application form to apply for XAT exam 2021 and to apply for XLRI admission 2021. At a nominal additional application fee of Rs.300, you can submit your XLRI application online for admission alongwith XAT registration form.

XAT 2021 Exam: Unlikely to be Postponed or Cancelled

not be cancelled nor its exam date will be postponed.
