XLRI Jamshedpur has released the XAT 2023 exam result on January 28, 2023 in Afternoon. XAT exam convener and XLRI Admission Chair Dr Vishwa Ballabh had confirmed to MBAUniverse.com that XAT 2023 result would be released on January 28, 2023 in afternoon. The officially announced date of XAT exam result was also three weeks after the exam date. MBAUniverse.com had already predicted that XAT 2023 result would be out on this date.

XAT 2023 exam was conducted on Sunday January 8, 2023 in a single session as a computer based test from 2 PM to 5.10 PM. This year 22% more candidates than last year appeared in XAT Exam, although there were 20% absentees. Out of total 98242 registered XAT candidates, about 80,000 appeared in XAT 2023. Before release of XAT result 2023, XLRI had released the XAT takers’ response sheet and answer key on Jan 10.

You can download the XAT 2023 score card now from the official XAT website and check your admission chances with cut offs for XLRI, XIMB, IMT, IMI, TAPMI, FORE, LBSIM. For admission 2023, IMI New Delhi and LBSIM New Delhi are also accepting XAT 2023 exam scores. However, SPJIMR Mumbai has stopped accepting the XAT exam score for last two academic sessions.

How to Download XAT Result 2023?
You can download your XAT score card by login to XAT website with your XAT 2023 registration ID and the XAT password at the link given at official XAT 2023 website

Steps to download XAT Score Card
You can download your score card in following steps:

• Login to official website for XAT
• Click on the Score card icon
• Enter your XAT 2023 registration ID, Password/Date of birth as required
• Your score card will be displayed
• Check and verify your Name, Registration number, test venue, exam date
• The Score card will contain your percentage score, percentile score for each section and overall
• Download your score card and take print
• Cross check with your expected score you calculated on the basis of earlier released question paper and answer sheet

Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2023 was the sixth online computer based exam conducted by XLRI for admission to more than 160 MBA/PGDM colleges on January 8, 2023.

XLRI Shortlisting & Cut Off Percentile
XLRI announces its shortlist for Admission after XAT result is out. Besides, XAT cut offs for different XLRI PGDM programmes are also announced and individual messages to shortlisted candidates are sent by XLRI.  

XLRI shortlisting criteria is based on sectional as well as overall XAT exam percentile score that you have obtained in Verbal & Reasoning, Decision Making, and Quantitative and Data Interpretation sections. The final selection round at XLRI will consist of GD-PI and will begin in February 2023. XLRI is likely to announce following minimum XAT exam scores required for shortlisting for final selection round 2023:

XLRI does not award full 100 percentile in XAT exam even to the highest scorer in the exam! The score is ranked at 99.9 percentile. Confirming this trend to MBAUniverse.com, XAT official said “Our percentile calculation is slightly different, and the topper does not score hundred percentile.”

Also, XAT 2023 result does not have candidates with negative percentile. According to XAT official “All students get positive percentiles (There is no possibility of negative percentile)”.  It means that no candidate can get negative scores as per the score normalization process adopted in XAT 2023.
