The 2 years full time AICTE approved Post Graduate Diploma (PGDM) at Thiagarajar School of Management (TSM) Madurai is its flagship programme. TSM PGDM
Programme prepares young men and women for rewarding career in any walk of economic or social activity that calls for application of management and/or information technology tools and inputs. TSM seeks to develop young men and women into technically proficient, managerially competent, ethically sensitive and socially responsible professionals.
While working on projects sponsored by organizations, TSM students get the opportunity to interact with practicing managers and gain insights into real-world problems.

TSM-PGDM Program is divided into 6 trimesters over 2 years, with a three months summer internship at the end of the first year. TSM constantly reviews the design, content and delivery of various courses for their continued relevance and need for updating in the context of changing business environment and management practices. As noted, there is a growing emphasis on project work and case studies as part of the regular courses at the Institute.
The Trimester 1 to Trimester 3 cover courses on Organizational Behaviour, Managerial Economics, Data Analysis for Management, Financial Accounting and Reporting, Marketing Management, Managerial Communication, Economic Policies for Managers, Managerial Cost Accounting, Operations Management, Corporate Finance, Business, Government and Society, Strategic Management, Human Resource Management, Decision Making with Optimization Techniques, Business Research Methodology, Data Analysis Using R and Python, Ethics and Governance, Comprehensive Viva-Voce, Rural and Development Immersion Programme.
From Trimester IV to VI candidates also focus on specialization courses which include Finance, Marketing, OB/HR, Operations, General Management and Systems.

Step by Step Admission process for TSM PGDM admission is as below:
Application Submission: A graduate in any stream/programme recognized by the UGC with a minimum of 60% marks can apply online for Thiagarajar School of Management (TSM) PGDM or MBA admission
Acceptable Entrance Exams: The student has to appear in one of the entrance exams namely CAT/MAT/XAT/ CMAT/TANCET
Shortlist Criteria: Candidates will be shortlisted for GD-PI-WAT (Written Ability Test) based on the admission test scores, prior academic performance and relevant work experience.
Participation in PI Round: At the time of the Personal Interview, written, verbal and analytical abilities of the candidates would also be examined
Final Selection: The final selection of candidates for admission will be based on composite factors such as admission test scores, previous academic record, relevant work experience and performance in the personal interview, Group Discussion and WAT.
Eligible candidate should submit TSM PGDM Application online at the TSM admission website www.tsm.ac.in by making payment of requisite application fee. Applicant has also to register for and appear in at least one of the MBA entrance exams CAT/XAT/CMAT /MAT /ATMA/GMAT/TANCET.
