MBA Technology Management (MBA-Tech)

MBA Technology Management program at TAPMI will nurture management professionals who can envision and convert the business opportunities that emerging technologies offer into technology products and services. The 2-year (6 trimester) program is offered in TAPMI Bangalore campus, with instruction by industry professionals and academic research professors and continuous live projects in renowned Technology companies in Bangalore and other Technology hubs.
Some of the distinctive features of the TAPMI MBA Technology Management Program are that 30% of all instruction of Technology Management and Industry Vertical courses will be delivered by seasoned industry practitioners. A minimum of 30% of learning will happen using industry-leading software tools in each course. Each student will have a seasoned industry professional as a mentor through a formal mentoring program. The summer internship will span a duration of 12 weeks.  Students will learn through multiple live internship projects with leading technology organizations. MBA Technology Management programme at TAPMI has a unique Three Pillar Curriculum - Business management fundamentals; Technology Management including the Creation, Selling of Technology as well as Implementation and Adoption of Technology; Industry Vertical specializations that are key in India at present including FinTech, E-Commerce and Retail and Healthcare. 

The two-year MBA Technology Managementprogram consists of around 1050 hours of contact classes. A student admitted into the MBA Technology Managementprogram will complete a minimum of 610 classroom contact hours in Year 1. The remaining 440 hours of contact classes will be completed in Year 2 of the program.

At the end of each term, a student will face a panel of faculty from different disciplines for a viva voce. The viva will test the ability of a student to coherently explain concepts, articulate application of conceptual knowledge in any given context, demonstrate fair appreciation of inter-linkages between various functional areas, demonstrate awareness of and ability to analyze current news related to business/economy/political events.

TAPMI admission is a five step process involving taking CAT/XAT/NMAT/GMAT, shortlisting based on exam scores and profile, and the Final selection process. TAPMI Admission process is as below:

• Step 1: Apply for at least one of the acceptable Entrance exams and Apply for TAPMI Admission
• Step 2: Appear in Entrance Test and score well to clear the TAPMI cut off
• Step 3: Check TAPMI Shortlist for final selection round
• Step 4: Participate in GD-PI Round  
• Step 5: If selected, Accept admission offer and pay admission fees

TAPMI Manipal Application for MBA Admission should be submitted online. For all the MBA programmes, there is one common application form. TAPMI does not accept application in hardcopy mode. Candidates have the option of making payment for application through online/credit card/debit card or using online banking payment facility. TAPMI website will guide you through the application submission process as well as online payment process. 

TAPMI Application Fee for one programme is Rs.1850/-; for two programmes application fees is Rs. 2450/-; for three programmes application fees is Rs. 3200, for four programmes application fees is Rs.4000/-. The fee is non refundable.
