BITS School of Management (BITSoM) Mumbai is a globally benchmarked B-school promoted by well known industrialist and Chairman of Aditya Birla Group Mr Kumar Mangalam Birla who is the Chancellor of BITS Pilani and Chairman of Governing Council of BITSoM. Mr. Birla is also an eminent educationist. Apart from being the Chancellor of BITS Pilani, he has served as Chairman of the Board of IIM Ahmedabad and IIT Delhi. Dr Saravanan Kesavan is the Dean of BITSoM, Mumbai. He has a doctorate in technology and operations management from Harvard Business School, advanced degrees from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a B-Tech from IIT Madras. He has over 16 years of experience in academia, having served as a faculty member at the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill, where he was also the Associate Dean of the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
