CIMP offers a two-year full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), approved by AICTE, accredited by NBA, and recognised by AIU as equivalent to MBA.  The residential two-year full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) prepare students for the corporate sector. PGDM programme at CIMP offers a pool of specializations in the second year in various functional areas of management such as marketing, finance, human resources, operations, and information technology (IT). A student can distribute his/her choice of electives across one or more of the functional areas, subject to completion of the minimum number of credits required for the award of PGDM.

PGDM Curriculum and Courses at CIMP are developed by committees consisting of reputed academicians from premier institutes like IITs and IIMs, and teaching materials used in the courses are sourced from Harvard Business School, IIM Ahmedabad, and other leading national and international B-Schools. 

During the first year of the PGDM programme, students learn basic concepts in the areas of Business Communication, Finance & Accounting, Marketing, Systems, Organizational Behaviour, Human Resource Management, and Operations & Quantitative Techniques.   CIMP Patna shortlisting Criteria for GD PI Process is based on entrance exam score and profile. Key parameters to be used by CIMP Patna in shortlisting criteria include:

• CIMP Patna will shortlist the applicants based on their best available test scores in CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/ATMA/GMAT
   
• CIMP Patna will consider aggregate scores of MBA entrance exams 
   
• Applicants may submit more than one entrance test score. CIMP Patna will consider the best test score for shortlisting 
   
• The candidates shall be shortlisted on the basis of the overall rank computed taking into account of all the components
