Pune Institute of Business Management (PIBM) was established in the year 2007. It is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University. PIBM Pune offers various management courses at the PG level. PIBM Pune courses are NBA and NAAC (Grade ‘A’) accredited, and the courses are approved by the AICTE (PGDM) and affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University (MBA). PIBM Pune is also a certified member of the AACSB. Further, the college recently launched 4 new programmes, i.e., Global Joint Degree Programme, the PGDM Hybrid programme, PGDM Prime, and PGDM Rise programme.
The Global Joint Degree Program is offered to students in collaboration with 4 universities in the USA, bringing a diverse global perspective. PIBM also has international collaboration with 17 universities across 11 countries to offer global exposure to students in management education through student exchange opportunities and joint academic research initiatives. The Global Joint Degree Program is in affiliation with universities, including Lawrence Technological University (LTU), University of Bridgeport (UB), Alliant International University, and Clark University, where students study 1 year in India and 1 year in the USA.

Steps for PIBM Pune Admission Process 2026
To get admission to any of the Management course at PIBM Pune, students need to follow a three-step admission process. Find all the steps of the PIBM admission process in the following section:
Step 1: PIBM Pune Online Application
For admission to the Pune Institute of Business Management courses, candidates need to visit the official website and fill out an online application form for PGDM/ MBA courses. Along with that, they must pay an application fee of INR 1,000.
Step 2: PIBM Pune Selection Rounds
PIBM Pune admissions are entrance-based. Candidates are admitted based on either PMAT or any other state/national-level entrance exams, which are particularly conducted for Management courses with a valid score. For the final selection, PIBM Pune conducts a Written Test, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview rounds that are mandatory to qualify for admission to PIBM Pune Management courses.
Step 3: Final Admission
After the completion of the final selection process, the selected candidates are required to pay a certain amount of course fees to confirm their admission.
