MBA in Public Policy is a two-year postgraduate degree program which trains students to influence public institutions and legislators and for forming policies that can serve national interest. This course provides leadership skills to future policy-makers and administrators. MBA in Public Policy curriculum includes topics such as business law, human resource management, and marketing along with additional subjects related to policy making and governance. Other subjects include economic analysis for public policy and decision making in public policy.

Since 2006, the AICTE approved, DoPT supported Post Graduate Diploma in Management-Public Policy and Management (PGDM-PPM) at MDI has constantly bridged the diverse experiences with evidence and expertise for cognitive gain, behavioural change, and citizen-centricity. The program aligns courses and discourses on functional competency for productive efficiency and domain competency for professional effectiveness. The program is expected to develop comprehensive competency by integrating understanding, realization, and value judgment by aligning government vision with citizens’ values.” 

MBA in Public Policy admission process includes entrance examination like CAT or XAT, and personal interview. The minimum eligibility criteria for the MBA in Public Policy is a bachelor’s degree.
