CAT 2023 Dress Code: No Jewellery, Thick-Soled Shoes, Wallet, Henna, Jackets with Pockets – Check IIM Lucknow's Guidelines to avoid last minute hiccups

CAT 2023 exam is on Sunday November 26 in 3 slots. IIMs have issued specific dress code guide for the 3.30 lakh CAT aspirants who have registered to appear in CAT 2023 in a single day. In its CAT 2023 guidelines, IIM Lucknow has asked the candidates to follow the CAT 2023 exam day dress code and adhere to the CAT 2023 Exam Day Items to Carry or Not Carry to the test centre.

CAT Day Dress Code for Male & Female: Must Follow
IIM Lucknow has shared CAT exam day dress code for male and female which they need to follow meticulously. Any breach in following the CAT day dress code may cost the candidates denial of entry to the test centre. Following the correct dress code on CAT day will make sure that you appear in the exam without getting subjected to different type of problems before or during the CAT exam.

CAT Day Dress Code & Things to Carry: CAT 2023 Exam Day Guidelines from IIML

1. Girls should not wear Jewellery or Metal Accessories
2. Girls should not apply Hena (Mehndi) on Palm side
3. No Shoes are allowed with thick soles inside the test centre
4. Only Socks, plain pullovers, sweaters, cardigans that do not have any pockets are allowed in the testing lab
5. No Jackets, Coats with pockets are allowed
6. Candidates will not be allowed to wear garments with large buttons inside the CAT exam centre.
7. No electronic gadgets are allowed like mobile phones, watches, calculators
8. No wallet, goggles should be carried to the CAT test centre
9. Candidates will undergo a frisking process. Only CAT admit card, photo identity card, required medical certificate(s) and scribe affidavit (if any) would be permitted beyond the frisking point.
10. If any candidate is using metal implant, pacemaker, he/she will have to bring a supporting medical certificate of the same to the test centre.

CAT Exam date 2023 is Sunday, November 26. The Exam will be held in 3 sessions on the same day. Duration of CAT exam 2023 is 2 hours for each of the 3 slots.
