FAQs

Q: What is the CAT Cut off for IIMs?
A: IIMs announce cut offs as the first criterion to consider a candidate for shortlisting. For example, if an IIM announces cutoff at 85 percentile, it is not necessary that it will shortlist you at that score, but you will at least be considered for shortlisting at that overall and sectional cutoff by the respective IIM.

Q: Do IIMs announce CAT Cut offs after release of Result?
A: No, all the 21 IIMs release cutoff for MBA admission much before result date

Q: How IIMs calculate CAT cut off?
A: IIMs round off all percentile scores greater than or equal to 99.995 to 100. Similarly, all percentile scores greater than or equal to 99.985 but strictly less than 99.995 are rounded off to 99.99 and so on

Q: How can I make best use of CAT Cutoff?
A: You can match MBA Colleges Cut off with your CAT Scores and Percentile for admission after the cutoff is announced and result is out

Moreover, I dedicated time to expand my general knowledge regarding current events and pertinent subjects”
