Some candidates have followed these steps to check CAT exam centre code and exam centre address:

1. Logon to official CAT 2025 Website www.iimcat.ac.in
2. Click on Candidate Login link and enter User ID and Password
3. Download “Application View PDF” document. This contains CAT application form details and CAT exam centre ode, which is given at the end of the document.
4. Check Eform TC Code: This is CAT Centre Code, which is a four digit number.
5. Check Eform Exam Shift: This is CAT 2025 exam shift. It shows Shift1 or Shift2 or Shift3.

After giving this information, candidates were asked to check their CAT exam centre on Google by Typing “TCS IDZ Centre + Number”. This CAT test centre code was supposed to show the CAT exam centre corresponding to the given centre number in TCS Ion Digital Zone, where CAT exams are held. But sadly, after checking their “Eform TC Code”, most candidate were not able to find or verify their CAT exam centre. Some candidates found random pages on internet from old exams where these centres were used, but no official list of CAT exam centres by test centres codes given on the documents they downloaded. No matching information is available on CAT official website or TCS ION website, who is conducting CAT 2025.

CAT 2025 exam will take place in three slots. As the CAT 2025 slots are officially out, you can check your slot in your CAT Admit Card once it is released on November 12, 2025. The following are the three slot timings.

Read the following CAT 2025 Exam Centres Dos and Don’ts to ensure hassle free experience on exam day at your CAT Test Centre:

• Visit your allotted test centre a day in advance to familiarize yourself with the location.
• Reach the centre at least 60–90 minutes before the reporting time.
• Keep your CAT admit card and a valid photo ID ready and in original form.
• Do not carrying prohibited items like mobile phones, calculators, or bags.
• Follow instructions given in the admit card carefully to avoid disqualification.

According to official CAT 2025 notification, CAT 2025 will be conducted in approximately 170 cities. CAT 2025 exam centres list state wise is given below. CAT exam centres are well-equipped computer labs, in TCS offices or Colleges, where a candidate can take the CAT test on the exam day. CAT 2021 exam was held in 156 cities. In 2022, the exam was conducted at 150 cities. For CAT 2023, the number of test cities was 167. CAT 2024 was held in 170 cities. In 2025, more than 370 CAT exam centres are set up to conduct the CAT exam in over 170 cities.

During CAT 2025 registration, candidates can select five (5) test cities for allotment of CAT exam center. Clarifying how CAT test cities are allocated, CAT notification says, “The CAT Centre will try its best to ensure that a candidate gets one of their preferred options. In case of high demand in a particular region, the CAT Centre reserves the right to allot a centre close to any of the preferred options. Once a centre is allotted to a candidate, no change is permitted. The list of cities may be subject to changes based on the discretion of the CAT authorities.” However, IIMs reserve the right to change or cancel any test centre/city and/or change the test time and date at their own discretion. 

For allotment of preferred CAT test centres 2025, the candidates have to confirm their preference of cities in the CAT application form 2025. Candidates will be allotted CAT test centre in the city of their preference. For CAT 2025 aspirants, the number of exam centres/test cities preference are five (5). Follow these steps to select preferred test city in CAT 2025 form:

• Register for CAT 2025 on the official website: iimcat.ac.in
• Once the login ID is created, use it to fill the application form
• Go to the section 'select test city'
• Select up to five cities from the drop down i.e. from first to fifth
• Fill up rest of the fields in the form, make payment of exam fee and click on submit

Remember, allotment is subject to availability, so apply early for better chances of getting your first preference.
