DU UG Admission 2019: DU JAT Exam on July 6 in Two Shifts; More than 2.50 Lakhs Register & Pay Application Fee
NTA has changed the Delhi University UG entrance exam schedule. In the notification released after close of DU registration process on June 22, 2019, DU Entrance Test 2019 dates for all the courses have been rescheduled between July 3 and July 8, 2019 instead of earlier announced DUET 2019 dates from June 30 to July 6. Now DU JAT 2019 for BBA/BMS admission in DU colleges will be held on July 6, instead of July 1, 2019.
After closed of its admission registration process on Saturday, June 22, 2019 for all the UG/PG merit based as well as entrance exam based courses, Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) 2019 exam schedule has also been changed by National testing Agency which is conducting all the Delhi University Entrance Exams this year. Now, DU Entrance Test 2019 for admission to all the courses will be held from July 3 to July 8, 2019 instead of earlier announced DUET 2019 exam dates which were scheduled from June 30 to July 6.
The DU Joint Admission Test for UG Management courses BBA/BMS & others will now be held on July 6, 2019 in two shifts instead of July 1, 2019. More than 2.50 lakh candidates have already applied for DU undergraduate admission 2019 and have made payment of the application fee.

Delhi University had extended its last date to apply for UG admission 2019 to June 22, 2019 from earlier announced date of June 14 in accordance with the Delhi High Court order for admission to various undergraduate courses. Not only this, Delhi University also modified the eligibility criteria for admission to number of undergraduate courses.
The DUET 2019 exam pattern has not been changed and will remain a computer-based test which will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) from July 3 to July 8, 2019 for admission to UG & PG courses in Delhi University. DU Entrance Exam: DU JAT 2019 in 2 Shifts
Delhi University Entrance Exam 2019 for admission to BBA, BBS, BA Business Economics courses and various other undergraduate management courses will now be held on July 6, 2019 in two shifts – from 12 Noon to 2 PM and from 4 PM to 6 PM on the same day. The last date to apply for Delhi University UG Admissions for BBA, BBS, BA Business Economics courses, and various other courses was closed on June 22, 2019.
DUET 2019 Testing Mode for DU JAT
The University of Delhi Entrance exam for BBA/BMS admission, known as Delhi University Joint Admission Test (DU-JAT) is a computer based test of 2 hours duration. The test will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). The DU Entrance Exam & Application Fee was increased to Rs.750 in 2019 from Rs. 500 last year.
Key Changes in DU UG Entrance Exam 2019
This year not only NTA is conducting the DU Entrance Exam, many changes in the University of Delhi Entrance exam 2019 have been introduced. Key changes are:
- DU Entrance Exam – DU JAT 2019 for UG admission shall consist of 100 MCQs instead of 120
- 100 Questions will be divided in 4 sections- Quantitative Ability; Reasoning and Analytical Ability; General English; Business and General Awareness
- DU entrance exam 2019 has a weightage of 65% and academics weightage is 35% in final selection for BBA/BBS
- DU 2019 Entrance Exam is computer based test of 2 hours duration
- Each Correct answer shall be awarded 4 Marks
- There will be negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer
Delhi University BBA/BBS Admission 2019 Eligibility Criteria
On June 17, 2019, Delhi University has modified its eligibility criteria for admission to various UG courses although there is no change in the eligibility criteria for BBA/BMS admission eligibility.
The DU Admission Process for BBA/BBS and other UG courses is based on the score obtained in DU Entrance exam 2019 - DUJAT. The merit list for admission will be prepared on the basis of DU entrance test 2019 score as well as academic performance.
Delhi University Admission notification 2019 has clarified that the BBA/BBS admission eligibility requirement is, “Aggregate of 60% or more marks in the qualifying examination in four subjects: English, Mathematics and any two other subjects…”.
Admission Process for BBA/BMS/BA Business Economics courses in Delhi University
Admission to BBA/BMS/BA Business Economics courses in University of Delhi are based on DU entrance tests. Admissions to these undergraduate courses in DU colleges and departments will be made based on marks scored in the entrance test and qualifying class XII examination. This is the first time that NTA is conducting DU Entrance exam. According to Delhi University, “Admission to undergraduate courses based on entrance tests (wherein admissions will be made based on marks scored in the entrance test and qualifying class XII examination) are offered by the University of Delhi through some of its colleges/departments in various streams of study.”

Delhi University Entrance exam 2019 registration and application process is online. The DU Admission 2019 portal will remain activated till June 22, 2019. DU Entrance Exam 2019 will have higher difficulty level as compared to other BBA entrance exams. The DU Admission 2019 cut offs may not go very high. DU JAT 2019 Cut Offs
DU JAT cut offs 2019 are applied for admission to BBA/BMS/BEBE in Delhi University affiliated colleges. The cut offs 2019 will be calculated out of 400 maximum marks allotted to DU JAT exam and will be applied after equating the scores for both shifts to shortlist the test takers for final selection round in BBA/BMs and other UG management courses offered by DU affiliated management colleges.
