In an environment when most B-schools are struggling to retain their number of applications at last year level, IFIM Business School Bangalore has reported an increase of 23 percent in the number of confirmed applicants for admissions in 2020.

Sharing with MBAUniverse.com, Dr Atish Chattopadhyay, Director, IFIM Bangalore said “Our application pools as of now is up by 23 percent as compared to the previous year.” Adding further Dr Chattopadhayay said, “The quality of applications have gone up, with around 63 percent of applicants reporting a CAT/XAT score of 65 percentile or more.”
Cut Offs to Go Up
With the increase in number of applicants, cut offs at IFIM may go up. Sharing with MBAUniverse.com, Dr Chattopadhyay said, “since number of applications have gone up, it is appearing that cut-off for the flagship PGDM Program will be 70 percentile or above. Accordingly, following score cut offs are expected to be applied in shortlisting by IFIM for admission 2020:
