How to Apply for Admission
Application for VJIM PGDM Admission 2020 can be submitted online or offline. The Application process is shared below:

  • VJIM PGDM Admission Prospectus or Handbook or e-brochure of Information for Admissions can be downloaded from the VJIM website. It is available at all the PI centers on the scheduled dates and in VJIM, Hyderabad. Upon request, the prospectus can also be sent to the candidate by post after the payment of application fee.  
  • A candidate can apply online through VJIM’s website. However, after filling the application form, you will be redirected to a payment gateway to pay Rs.1,000/- for the application fee. Please ensure that you upload scanned copies of all supporting documents.
  • Aleternately, you can apply for VJIM PGDM Admission through hard-copy of Handbook of Information. The application form can be obtained in person from the VJIM campus. Filled in application form, along with mark-sheets of all qualifications and Test Scores should be submitted either in person or via post along with a DD of Rs.1.000/- in favour of VIGNANA JYOTHI INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT, payable at Hyderabad.
  • If submitting the filled in application form personally, the applicant may also make the payment in cash.  

VJIM Admission Eligibility

  1. VJIM eligibility criteria require that the candidate must hold a bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA
  2. The candidate should have appeared and qualified in CAT 2019/XAT 2020/ CMAT 2020/MAT 2019-2020/; ATMA 2019-20; GMAT– 2018, 2019 and 2020
  3. If the candidate is awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, the equivalence to determine PGDM admission eligibility would be based on the equivalence certified by the institution/university from where the bachelor's degree is obtained. In case the institution/university does not have any scheme for converting the CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by VJIM Hyderabad to confirm the Admission eligibility of the candidate. 
  4. A candidate appearing for the final year bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed the degree requirements and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply
  5. Candidates appearing in final year of graduation should also complete their bachelor’s degree with 50% marks and should be able to produce proof of passing the degree examination with the minimum required marks by the prescribed date.

VJIM Admission Criteria
VJIM Hyderabad Admission Criteria 2020 will be a two step process involving the Shortlisting criteria based on entrance exam score and the Final admission selection Criteria based on other key components apart from entrance exam score:

It should be noted that each National Level Test will be scaled differentially to accommodate relative variability in difficulty levels of different test scores.

Once a candidate has submitted her/his application form and is shortlisted, he/she will be required to appear for a personal interview. The Personal Interview will be conducted either on campus, or at a specified location along with documents.

  1. VJIM Shortlisting Criteria
    The first part of VJIM Admission criteria is the shortlisting criteria before final selection round. VJIM Hyderabad will shortlist the candidates on the basis of following parameters:
  • VJIM will consider aggregate scores and not sectional scores of the applicants in the acceptable entrance exams for shortlisting.
  • VJIM will short-list the candidates for PI round based on their best available test scores in CAT/XAT/GMAT/MAT/CMAT/ATMA.
  • Applicants may submit more than one entrance test score. VJIM will consider the best test score for shortlisting.
  • Although the shortlisting cut offs will be different for different entrance exams, a minimum 50 percentile is required in the entrance exam for shortlisting
  • VJIM may also allow all the applicants to participate in PI process without shortlisting and then prepare a final merit list for admission on the basis of weightages awarded to them 
  1. Final Admission Selection Round Criteria
  • Post short-listing on the basis of available scores, applicants will be called for the final selection round (PI Round)
  • All the shortlisted candidates are eligible to go through the PI round to be held in April/May 2020
  • Final selection is based on entrance exam score, Academic Performance, Work Experience, performance in Personal Interview (PI)
  • Final admission offer based on above parameters will be given to the candidates in May 2020

VJIM Admission Cut Off  
VJIM Hyderabad has not announced actual cut offs for PGDM admission 2020. However, the candidates are expected to score a minimum percentile cut offs in the respective MBA entrance exam. The cut offs for entrance exams are based on aggregate percentile score although candidates should also score well across the sections of the entrance exam. The expected cut offs are as under:

Final Selection Weightage in VJIM PGDM 2020 Admission
VJIM awards weightage to academics, performance in entrance exam, performance in PI, Work experience, in final selection criteria. Accordingly, the selection criteria will be based on a Composite Score derived from weightages as under:

Merit Scholarships at VJIM
Scholarships at VJIM are available at the entry level based on the Composite Scores. Students scoring a Composite Score of 75% and above will be eligible for a scholarship. The scholarship brackets are as below:
