World’s Best Entrepreneurship MBA Ranking by Poets&Quants

World’s Best MBA Programs for Entrepreneurship Ranking by Poets&Quants aims to “measure of how schools actually prepare students to launch, fund, and grow new ventures.” As per the rankings, Washington University Olin’s fulltime MBA program is ranked No 1 in the world and, EDHEC Business School of France is ranked No 2 and IE Business School in Spain is ranked 3 in the world.

Poets&Quants Best MBA Programs for Entrepreneurship Ranking list features only three international MBA programs: Woxsen University Hyderabad, India (No. 11), China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) (No. 13) and Ivey Business School , Canada (No. 26).

According to the official report by Poets&Quants, “Woxsen was propelled to the highest debut rank with strong showings in both percentage of MBAs starting a venture or joining a startup within three months of graduation, reporting 12.9% and 15.6% respectively.”

For 2026, Poets & Quants ranking methodology focused on following questions: Are students starting companies? Are they joining startups after graduation? Are schools providing the ecosystem and support to turn ideas into ventures? 

Specifically, the ranking was based on following questions with given weightages: 

• Percent of MBAs (5-year average) launching businesses within three months of graduation (25.0% weightages)
• Percent of MBA elective courses with 100% of the curriculum devoted to entrepreneurship (15.0%)
• Percent of MBAs active in a student-run entrepreneurship club (15.0%)
• Ratio of startup and/or entrepreneurship funding available to MBAs (10.0%)
• Ratio of entrepreneurship-focused mentors available to MBAs (10.0%)
• Percent of MBAs involved in a startup or startup project during the academic year (10.0%)
• Percent of MBA faculty teaching an entrepreneurship course during the academic year (5.0%)
• Percent of MBAs (5-year average) joining startup within three months of graduation (5.0%)
• Percent of MBAs taking an elective in entrepreneurship (2.5%)
• Ratio of entrepreneurship-focused mentor hours to MBAs (2.5%)
