Xavier Institute of Management & Entrepreneurship Chennai Placement has been strong over the years. Training and Placement Centre (TPC) at XIME Chennai strives towards developing the students to pursue their career aspirations. TPC acts as a collaborative platform between the industry and academia to gauge the demands of diverse industries. This in turn equips XIME to develop the students’ human capital. They undergo a rigorous process of training under TPC that build their employability and work-life skill-sets. These skill-sets enable them to get placed and transform them into leaders in the industry.
The Placement process at XIME aims to match the requirements of the Corporate World with the aspirations of the students thereby facilitating the achievement of synergy between the two. XIME organises centralized placements at Bangalore. The placement season is kickstarted by the placement week.
Students across three XIME campuses meet up at XIME Bangalore for the recruitment process. The entire placement process is centrally driven that gives ample opportunities for eligible candidates to participate in the hiring processes. The Institute has an active students’ placement programme. Through its Placement Cell, it provides direction and support to students. All through the years, it has succeeded in maintaining an excellent record. The institute vigorously follows a norm of 100% placement. The various placements activities undertaken at XIME are described below.
Pre Placement Talks
This is an opportunity for the companies to increase their visibility on campus. This also provides the corporate with a great opportunity to interact with the batch, and tell them about the offered job profiles and the career growth path in their organizations. The Firms are provided with state-of-the art audio-visual equipment. In case a company requires a Video conference facility, it is also made available to them.
Placement Week Guidelines
Organisations desirous of participating in the final placement process should register with the Placement Cell.
At the time of registering, organisation must indicate their preferred dates for the Pre-placement Talk and the Final Interviews.
XIME will assign and confirm the campus interview dates for the registered organisations.
Placement Slot Allotment to Recruiters
A Company will be given a day and a slot. The allotment of the same shall be done on the following criteria:
Lateral Placement Process at XIME
The Lateral Process would be rolling in nature. Companies would be given the batch profile and they would be required to submit the list of short listed candidates before the aforementioned date.
Pre Placement Offers (PPOs) Pre-placement offers made to the candidates are to be routed through the Placement Cell. Any organization desirous of giving such an offer may get in touch with the Placement Cell.
