RCSS MBA - Program Highlights

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a two-year, full-time program structured over four semesters along with a summer internship. The first semester builds a foundation in management fundamentals, while the second semester focuses on functional areas of management. The third and fourth semesters provide in-depth knowledge in specialized areas, including Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Information Systems. Given the complexities of the business world, all students are required to pursue a dual specialization to enhance their expertise. As an autonomous institution, RCSS designs its curriculum to develop professionally competent managers, equipped to tackle organizational challenges effectively.

RCSS MBA - Curriculum Highlights

The MBA curriculum at RCSS follows the Rajagiri Immersive Learning Experience, a unique pedagogical approach aimed at holistic development. It is structured around four key dimensions:

  • Conceptual Learning: Case discussions, lectures, seminars, business updates, and research projects introduce students to management concepts and frameworks.
  • Experiential Engagement: Activities like the Rural Sensitization Camp, Vanavasam, fieldwork, and projects provide hands-on learning experiences.
  • Executive Modelling: Communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills are honed through structured training, ensuring students develop a strong professional presence.
  • Corporate Competency: Continuous industry interactions, summer internships, and industry visits offer real-world exposure, preparing students for managerial roles in dynamic business environments.
